U.S. to View Major Cyber Attacks as Acts of War

May 31st, 2011

The Bin Laden spectacle was completely absurd from top to bottom—and now…

The Pentagon has adopted a new strategy that will classify major cyber attacks as acts of war, paving the way for possible military retaliation, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.

The newspaper said the Pentagon plans to unveil its first-ever strategy regarding cyber warfare next month, in part as a warning to foes that may try to sabotage the country’s electricity grid, subways or pipelines.

“If you shut down our power grid, maybe we will put a missile down one of your smokestacks,” it quoted a military official as saying.

The newspaper, citing three officials who had seen the document, said the the strategy would maintain that the existing international rules of armed conflict — embodied in treaties and customs — would apply in cyberspace.

It said the Pentagon would likely decide whether to respond militarily to cyber attacks based on the notion of “equivalence” — whether the attack was comparable in damage to a conventional military strike.

Such a decision would also depend on whether the precise source of the attack could be determined.

    another excuse for war

I don’t know what these people at the Pentagon are SMOKING these days or if they’ve found some new way of getting high by some other orifice of by way as yet undisclosed means.
A project I was working on several years back provisws public knowledge of a whistleblower who was trying to solve the backhacking into U.S. government computers. He was fired by Lockheed Maring (grin) went through hell and with a jury and long suffering prevailed. Finding: it is not a crime to try to prevent and detect cyber security attack.

Well that was then and this is now. I guess. Now its a CRIME to hack into our computer systems?
Still wondering where all those dollars are that Donald Rumsfeld said were missing from the Pentagon on 9/10/2001. Those dollars are still missing folks.Pentagon STILL can’t balance their books. Imagine my shock!
The tax payers paid a hefty sum to settle the case above.
Off topic, myself and another witness saw this “baby” fly over our house on Saturday:

After that “baby” passed over there were “spider webs,” fine threads of filament that I went through – best way I can describe it that I passed through while getting into my car three hours after I had been in it earlier. Maybe we have some awesome spiders here in western PA that can weave 13 foot goo-spans in three hours. Dunno.

I don’t know what is happening friends.

But thanks to Dr. Gwen Scott interviewed on the Solari report, I’ve been taking a tablespoon of the Permaguard in the morning.

My life has changed for taking the Permaguard FOR THE BETTER. From what I’ve been reading its like eating dirt, well not exactly, but pure fossil sand that has detoxed my body enough to uh, clean some closets. I have closets to clean here- metaphorically, spiritually, and physically. That’s been a heavy load to bear here. Mom’s clothes are just too much. But I’m cleaning the attic out of my stuff that has accumulated over 20 years.
So I gather I’m detoxing while being assaulted from above and whatever.
But I can assure you from my personal experience, and from testimony from members of my family clan, I believe we humans, particularly in the U.S. are under attack: weatherwise, seed starting ( that’s another story in its entirety); crop growing, etc.
If the CIA is spraying us, and the DOD is doing it too, and if solving computer crime was not a crime them but is now, maybe we will live, and thrive and outwit these dumb a’holes who wouldn’t know how to run to first base because they don’t know how to play baseball. And thankfully, don’t know how to play as a team.

This is our land. May you enjoy the space where you live and do so prosperously.

Namaste (from my heart to yours).
