Flexing His Nobel Peace Prize? Obama Announces $1 Billion Fund to Increase U.S. Military Deployments to Europe

June 3rd, 2014

Via: BBC:

President Barack Obama has announced plans for a $1bn (£600m) fund to increase US military deployments to Europe, during a visit to Poland.

Mr Obama reaffirmed the US commitment to Nato’s principle of collective defence, announcing plans for a $1bn European Reassurance Initiative.

The programme, which will fund additional US military rotations to Europe, will need congressional approval.

The US would also “step up partnership” with countries such as Ukraine and Moldova, he added.

Flexing his Noble Peace Prize. Oh the irony. If only he would direct his “peace” to the Palestinian’s who don’t have water to drink. But I guess these human’s aren’t on the “Peace Prize Winner’s” radar since our best buddies in Israel who we give billions to each year want these people destroyed. Peace Prize for what I wonder?
Long ago it seems a professor said that a president will NEVER give up a power that a former president had gained. I think this is proven out with Obama. Keep the drones, torture, wars, everything and every atrocity of the Bush administration going, including the decimation of the Palestine people. What hope and what change? What hasn’t changed is the sales pitch, which I have to admit, I bought, hook, line, and sinker.
Shame on me. I quit believing in a lot of things. But this year is the last time I’m going to vote for a president. I’m done. Finished. Kaput. Why bother when no matter what the “sales campaign” says its always more of the SAME OLD SHIT?

I should have said that I won’t be voting for a U.S. President in the foreseeable future. The fix is always in. Voting in the U.S. – where the fix has been in for the last 20 years is a joke.

Don’t know whether it is better to vote Libertarian or not vote at all. Prolly makes no difference because the beauty of The Secret Ballot is that the THEY can just TELL us who won. One exception was Jesse Ventura winning as a state governor. He said that the CIA even grilled him on how he won, so THEY possibly don’t control everything, but prolly do by now. I’m an Anarchist (Do you need a leader? I know I don’t) so that means I prolly shouldn’t vote, but THEY do rig it so that you are almost forced to, such as I want to vote pro-gun so I have to vote for worthless Repubs instead of the worthless Demos.
