“Will ISIS Plan a 9/11-Style Terror Plot Against the U.S.?”

June 17th, 2014

I am Jack’s complete lack of surprise.

Via: CBS:

Republicans are sounding the warning that the next 9/11-like terror plot could emerge from the regions of Iraq and Syria that are currently dominated by an extremist group bearing down on Baghdad.

As the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) – which has already captured the cities of Tikrit and Mosul and is threatening to take the capital city as well – grows in strength and numbers, will it pose an immediate threat to the United States homeland as well?

“…The bigger danger, Zarate said, is that the U.S. does not yet know exactly what the group will look like once it evolves. While ISIS might not launch an attack on U.S. soil tomorrow, he said, “I think the grave threat here is that you have the seeds of a new terrorist movement emerging very aggressively.”

“…U.S. officials have warned the next major attack on U.S. soil could emanate from the region.”

“…One of Rogers’ principal concerns is the threat posed by American and European fighters who traveled to what he called “jihadist Disneyland” in eastern Syria and have been radicalized.”

“…ISIS “is an al Qaeda-inspired group that certainly has al Qaeda ties, that now has the capability to tap people with Western passports to send them back to Europe and the United States for terrorist activity.”

“In February, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said the U.S. was “very focused” on the problem of fighters from the U.S., Canada and Europe who traveled to Syria.”

So let me put the pieces together.

    (1) There is no known threat.
    (2) There might be a threat!
    (3) No, really, there might be a threat! We are warning you to be afraid.
    (4) Americans can be BAD people too.
    (5) Having a passport makes it easier for you to be a bad person. In fact, it’s downright suspicious.
    (6) How can we know if Americans pose a threat to America if we don’t ‘collect information’?

I really don’t know what else to say. I can’t even make it a joke any more.

I’m glad that you were able to bring yourself to write that comment.

Me quoting an old line from Fight Club in lieu of useful commentary—yep, I’ve hit my exasperation limit on a story.

    * TILT * * TILT * * TILT *

Man, sometimes, I just throw up my arms and think, “Just wake me up when there’s a mushroom cloud.”

You know what it is: They don’t need to go out an kill people who have figured out what a ridiculous scam this is. They’re going to expose us to kubuki theater that’s so retarded that our brains will liquify and pour out of our ears onto the floor. This one is that bad.

Who armed these maniacs and where did they get half a billion dollars?

    Hmm?

Look! Over there! It’s Bin Laden’s ghost on a magic carpet! *BOOM*

Here are two Dead Kennedys related videos. The first one is sort of apt, recorded 30 years ago.

ISIS is the new super-charged Al-Qaeda hybrid, a perfect prelude to selection of false flags on American soil. Jeeze what a cluster-fuck of chaos.

The global intensity of it all does seem to be rocketing up into the stratosphere. Take your pick from a variety of psychopathic endgame scenarios from economic, social and environmental I think it all points to the same conclusion: ACT. Calmly and carefully get the hell out of the USA. If you can’t do that then get busy with your supplies and building a nucleus of people your trust with your life.

Then of course, there are copious amounts of anomalous phenomena cropping up at the moment from looping the loop fireballs to disappearing aircraft in Europe…All of which you could say seems to be mirroring this agitation in the collective mind.

    It’s all utterly surreal.
