Welcome to the future! This is not surprising at all. It was inevitable that this would happen. Advances in technology were leading up to this. They don’t call it labour saving for nothing! You will see a lot more of this not just in manufacturing but in sorts of industries including medicine. The only problem is if you make humans obsolete and they have no job who will buy your product or service? The rich can’t pick up the slack there is not enough of them and not everyone is capable of running a profitable business so I don’t see how eliminating human labour is going to work out too well in the long run with the way we have ordered our society where everyone must work for a living.
