Police Come Under Gunfire, Arrest 31 in Missouri Racial Unrest

Police said early on Tuesday they came under heavy gunfire and arrested 31 people during another night of racially charged protests in Ferguson, Missouri, sparked by the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager by a white policeman 10 days ago.
Demonstrations, mostly peaceful but with spasms of violence by smaller groups, have flared since Michael Brown, 18, was shot dead while walking down a residential street on August 9.
State Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson, briefing reporters on Monday’s night’s violence, said “our officers came under heavy gunfire” in one area.
“Not a single bullet was fired by officers despite coming under heavy attack,” he told a news conference. Riot police had confiscated two guns from protesters and what looked like a petrol bomb. Four officers had been injured.
Johnson separately told CNN that two people were shot within the crowd, but not by police, and were taken to hospital. There was no immediate word on their condition.
Not that heavy. From what I saw, watching vice news was, someone opened fire with an automatic, followed by a couple of others with semi automatics. I’d estimate 25 shots were fired. The cops responded with a lot of tear gas. The whole event lasted maybe 30 seconds. It was exciting to watch, though.

They were being pushy with CNN journalists. Actually, the precedent is unclear why demonstrators should be required to follow police orders to disperse, and journalists shouldn’t, when both actions are listed under the first amendment.

Three or more german journalists from top agencies were arrested, and then the police made ignorant comments, told them their name was Donald Duck, and denied them water until release. Not surprisingly, they made this top story at online Spiegel, Die Welt and Bild. It has higher coverage than most U.S. papers. In Germany’s Grundgesetz constituion, they promise the right to assemble with advance organization with a permit, or to spontaneously assemble w/o organization.

quintanus, here’s a different perspective on one of the CNN journalists — check it out — sure looks staged to me. But a LOT about Ferguson looks staged. Obviously, there are real people and real cops who are NOT part of the psy-op, but this whole thing stinks of a set-up, complete with mainstream media complicity, crisis actors, agent provocateurs, the whole nine yards. This is slick agit prop and it’s working, sadly.

P.S. On the third video above, the weird guy reading the book in the background behind the lawyer during the press conference — well, turns out it’s not a Bible, it’s a Quran. Also, in another video there’s a scene with a CNN journalist and a guy in the crowd holding an “ISIS” sign. Obviously, they’re setting up the whole “we’ve been invaded by the Muslim terrorist heirs to Osama bin Laden” so when the next big false flag occurs, the sheeple will fall right in line for “ISIS DID IT.” Hell, Cheney’s out there already saying the next 9/11 is going to be 10 times worse. It’s all so fucking obvious anymore, but are enough people seeing through the bullshit yet?

yeah – that second link is pretty interesting regarding Al Sharpton. You can see Al Sharpton in this livestream, I think, wearing a purple suit, walking through the scene starting around 30:00. He is speaking with police at 27:00 Even though he has public speaking skills, it has never been clear why other people from the same community with even better speaking skills can’t become more prominent.
