Scotland will vote to stay in the United Kingdom after rejecting independence, the BBC has predicted.

With 26 out of the country’s 32 council areas having declared after Thursday’s vote, the “No” side has a 54% of the vote, with the “Yes” campaign on 46%.

By 05:15 BST (06:15 GMT), the “No” campaign had more than 1,397,000 votes, with “Yes” on just over 1,176,000.

A total of 1,852,828 votes is needed for victory. The vote is the culmination of a two-year campaign.

The BBC is predicting on the basis of the result declared so far that the “No” side will win the referendum with 55% of the vote while “Yes” will secure 45% of the vote.

This margin of victory is some three points greater than that anticipated by the final opinion polls.

Well, as the saying goes, “Those who vote decide nothing. Those who count the vote decide everything.” Silly that anyone would think that the masters would allow any slaves to leave the plantation.

Notice the “yes” vote on the top of the pile of those ballots sitting in the “NO” tray.

And there’s another saying, which I personally find more likely: “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”

Sure. Call the slaves stupid, but their education and media are in the hands of their masters.

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.”? Edward Bernays

Normalcy bias prevails. Especially among women, apparently, who were the main “no” voters. Oh, and the half a million English living in Scotland.

Now, with greater Glasgow having the highest density of primary nuclear targets in the UK, the Scots can look forward to mushroom-shaped retribution once WW3 gets underway. Scotland the Brave? Nope. It only ever was Scotland the Stupid.

I live in Scotland and I’m half Scottish. It is a wonderful nation with a strong identity.

However, If you think that it was real independence that was on offer well…It doesn’t seem like it to me. Keep in mind that this has always been the plan of the Eurocrats to create separate regions based on parliamentary assemblies already present and which would have then proceeded to nine EU regions within the UK as a whole. The UK laws are primarily decided in the EU by unelected persons who are very far from any ideas of self-rule and autonomy.

The selling point for this debacle was to keep the monarchy, keep the pound, keep US-NATO and given their self-determination and true autonomy over to the Eurocrats in Brussels once again…And if not, then better the devil you know in Westminister. It was always a win-win for the Establishment.

So, whether you cheer-lead for psychopaths in Westminster or their controllers in the EU I’m afraid this was a divide and rule scenario and a big distraction from the Middle East and Russia.

That said, there IS a case for an independent Scotland, Wales, and England and every other nation that wishes to rid itself of this cultural and economic control. But it must be done without its psychopathic representatives pulling the strings and that can only happen when the economic system as a whole collapses and people wake up to the fact that answers cannot be found while you are still inside that pathological box in which constantly frame our perceptions.

Some valuable points were made in this article by Ian R. Crane about what was needed for true independence:
