Missouri House Bill 545 Would Make Possession of Many Semi Automatic Weapons a Felony

4. Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution:

(1) Remove the assault weapon or large capacity magazine from the state of Missouri;

(2) Render the assault weapon permanently inoperable; or

(3) Surrender the assault weapon or large capacity magazine to the appropriate law enforcement agency for destruction, subject to specific agency regulations.

5. Unlawful manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of an assault weapon or a large capacity magazine is a class C felony.

    It’s a brilliant plan. The neighboring states will have an abundance of cheap assault rifles. That will help stabilize current assault weapons prices.

    Better sell your large capacity box knives and the 100 count magazines you can buy for them at Home Depot. By 911/TSA definition, box knives are definitely “assault weapons.”

    The two posts preceding mine tend to make light of the situation. Now, I do understand the tendency to do so, but now is the not the time. This is red alert time. If you have not bought a semi auto to defend against TPTB by now then too bad… pay panic prices. You are late to the game. Don’t take pleasure in neighbor state government lawlessness to provide benefits. Give me a fucking break. Everyone located in every state needs to be strong. If you think weak links can somehow provide strong front lines then you are a effing retard. Much could be said on this, but it isn’t really needed if the parties privy to the conversation are thinking adults. Come on people, think for a effing change.
