Instead the many mainstream Republicans who are appalled at Trump’s antics are now realising they could have little alternative but to vote for Hillary Clinton or not vote at all.

His speech yesterday to AIPAC might just as well have been by Cruz, or any of the neocons for that matter. It’s silly to believe he says anything other than what he thinks his audience of the moment wants to hear.
I still think he’s working with the Clintons to get Hillary elected. Bill recognized that the only way she could possibly win a general election, being as reviled as she is, was to ensure she ran against someone even more vile and heinous.
In fact, having him as a common enemy to both parties is a bonus. Since there’s really nothing to distinguish them (other than some trivial hot-button issues like abortion), they might as well come together in some sort of grand bargain, and do away with the charade anyway. So the more people support Trump, the more likely the establishment wins, and he knows it. Why do you think he shows a clip of a judo move in his latest ad?
