There’s absolutely no reason (as far as I can tell) to think that this is assassination. Just noting it anyway.

Police have confirmed that the man found dead in a vehicle on Wednesday in Yavapai County was a missing Glendale man, Cornelius Hardy.

Yavapai authorities are investigating the incident as a probable suicide, said Sgt. Jim Cunningham of the Glendale Police Department.

Hardy went missing from his home near 67th Avenue and Deer Valley Road on Saturday evening.

His wife said that when she left the home at 6:30 p.m., Cornelius was in a room with one of their daughters, who was asleep on the couch. When she returned at 8:30 p.m., her husband was gone and her daughter was still asleep on the couch.

Hardy was an engineer at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Plant.
