Judge Wants Everyone in UK on DNA Database

September 6th, 2007

Via: Guardian:

The entire UK population and every visitor to Britain should be put on the national DNA database, a top judge said today.

Lord Justice Sedley, one of England’s most experienced appeal court judges, described the country’s current system as “indefensible”.

“We have a situation where if you happen to have been in the hands of the police, then your DNA is on permanent record. If you haven’t, it isn’t … that’s broadly the picture,” Sir Stephen Sedley told the BBC.

“It also means that a great many people who are walking the streets, and whose DNA would show them guilty of crimes, go free.”

He said that expanding the existing database to cover the whole population had “serious but manageable implications”.

Wow. D’ya think this judge is going to do something for the tourist industry in the U.K? Beam me there Scotty. I always wanted my DNA on a chip. There must be LOTS of Prozac in U.K. drinking water, or is it only in the water “Top” judges in the U.K. drink? Now there’s a conspiracy theory for you!
You know, those top judges also ruled that Kelly, the top Iraqi weapons scientist somehow stuck his head up his arse and somehow slit his wrisst whilst doing so. And Robin Cook, also one of those anti-war kind of dumb arse types they breed in the U.K fell like Humpty Dumpty and they couldn’t put his head back together again.
So Sorry ole Chap! Come to think of it, email from the U.K. is most likely being censored, I can’t imagine that my friend who started a pacifist movement against the war in Iraq wouldn’t have something to say about these numbskulls!!!

However, all I I hear from the UK is silence. That’s two WTF’s in one day for me!
