Dear John Young,

We have reviewed your PayPal Account, and due to the excessive risk involved, we would like to begin parting ways in a manner that is least disruptive to your business.

    what?
    anyone know what this is about?
    how would PayPal be exposed to “excessive risk” from Mr. Young?

  2. pookie says:

    @tochigi

    my guess is that the “excessive risk” to which PayPal (hereinafter “PP,” which is fitting) refers is from Those Whose Evil Has Been Exposed and who have ordered PayPal to give Mr. Young the boot. The excessive risk to PP is, of course, if PP does not oblige Them.

  3. williamspd says:

    No risk to PayPal, of course, except that They have probably told PayPal that John Young is some kind of terrorist, and threatened some kind of heavy-handed financial investigation into PayPal’s accounts for some terrorism funding hokum. Meanwhile, the real terrorists out there continue to send their money around the globe using whatever they lke, including PayPal.
