The World’s Most Expensive Military Cemetery

I don’t think much about what could have been, but it’s hard not to when looking at this abomination.

The world’s most expensive military cemetery, a £22.6 billion centre dubbed “The Boneyard”, has been pictured in a spectacular series of new high-resolution Google Earth satellite images.

The 2,600 acre facility, officially known Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, is home to thousands of outdated aeroplanes and helicopters mothballed by the United States Air Force and other allied forces.

    but what about my bail-out?!? yeah, people get so easily distracted by the ‘illegal criminal aliens’, poor folks w/o healthcare bleeding the economy dry, etc., but that $1trillion Peace Dept Budget w/ all of it’s excess and waste gets nary a mention…

    Are you, by any chance, referring to the Moon colonies, Mars expeditions, and interstellar probes we could have bought for what all that useless military crap cost?
