March 9th, 2010I don’t think much about what could have been, but it’s hard not to when looking at this abomination.

The world’s most expensive military cemetery, a £22.6 billion centre dubbed “The Boneyard”, has been pictured in a spectacular series of new high-resolution Google Earth satellite images.
The 2,600 acre facility, officially known Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, is home to thousands of outdated aeroplanes and helicopters mothballed by the United States Air Force and other allied forces.

but what about my bail-out?!? yeah, people get so easily distracted by the ‘illegal criminal aliens’, poor folks w/o healthcare bleeding the economy dry, etc., but that $1trillion Peace Dept Budget w/ all of it’s excess and waste gets nary a mention…
I don’t think much about what could have been, but it’s hard not to when looking at this abomination.
Are you, by any chance, referring to the Moon colonies, Mars expeditions, and interstellar probes we could have bought for what all that useless military crap cost?
