U.S. Will Engage Syria and Iran

Can anyone see how this will not result in World War III?

Succeeding in Iraq also requires defending its territorial integrity – and stabilizing the region in the face of the extremist challenge.

This begins with addressing Iran and Syria. These two regimes are allowing terrorists and insurgents to use their territory to move in and out of Iraq.

Iran is providing material support for attacks on American troops.

We will disrupt the attacks on our forces. We will interrupt the flow of support from Iran and Syria.

And we will seek out and destroy the networks providing advanced weaponry and training to our enemies in Iraq.

    Kevin, can we stop calling it WWIII? It is just Bubble III to replace dot.com Bubble I and Housing Bubble II. It’s just business.

    The obvious is going to happen–WWIII. The question is this: Will you down-unders survive the fallout, or will you go the way of the submarine crew in “On The Beach?” I wish you guys all the best of luck. Up on this side of the line, we’re literally dead men walking. The majority of these stupid Americans and Canuks
    won’t even have a clue when, in a few weeks or days, Bush comes on the screen to announce that “I’ve ordered…against Iran…,” and “given the threat of terrorist attacks within the country, I’ve declared a ‘temporary’ suspension of the constitution while…”

    Good luck down there. I really mean that. You’re life’s last chance. I hope you can keep the ember alive.
