EU Plans to Require Biometrics of All Non-European Visitors

BRUSSELS: All non-Europeans would need to submit biometric data before crossing Europe’s frontiers under sweeping European Union proposals to combat illegal migration, terrorism and organized crime that are to be outlined this week.
The plans – arguably the biggest shake-up of border management in Europe since the creation of an internal travel zone – would apply to citizens of the United States and all other countries that now enjoy visa-free status.
They would, however, allow EU citizens and “low risk” frequent travelers from outside the bloc to pass through automated, fast-track frontier checkpoints without coming into contact with border guards. Voluntary programs for prescreening such visitors, who would register fingerprints and other data, would be stepped up.
The proposals, contained in draft documents examined by the International Herald Tribune and scheduled to go to the European Commission on Wednesday, were designed to bring the EU visa regime into line with a new era in which passports include biometric data.
The commission, the EU executive, argues that migratory pressure, organized crime and terrorism are obvious challenges to the Union and that the bloc’s border and visa policy needs to be brought up to date.
It also wants a new European Border Surveillance System to be created, to use satellites and unmanned aircraft to help track the movements of suspected illegal migrants.
Scuse me, and pardon, while I rub my Blackwater, er, or my Wackenhut til I see so many $$$ (er I meant Euro signs) with this latest paranoid schizophrenic islamaphobic claptrack announcement that I have an IRAQATTACK.
All this to bring the EU VISA REGIME IN LINE – with what? The BUSH and his BEYOND COMPREHENSION ANALLY FIXATED ON SECURITY regime that wants-WHAT NEXT – the DNA profile on everyone who dares to board a plane to the US? (See earlier post on Bush FLIGHTS on this site).
I’ve spent many years of my life training to be a psychotherapist. The Jungian, Reich schools of thought. Oh sob. Were such great minds here at work and vocal and giving therapy to these sickos that lead the NATIONS of THE WORLD TODAY. I didn’t go that way in my life due to circumstances that I do not even disclose to myself. I didn’t have the balls to continue in this work. But you don’t have to have that kind of training to REALLY GROCK that we’ve got some REALLY SICK PUPPIES that are spreading their REAL MENTAL ILLNESS across the world today in POSITIONS OF REAL POWER. That’s probably a big duh to those who read Cryptogon in any case.
Rather than the biometric data, I suggest Homeland Security and whatever the EU equivalent is, keep it real simple.
Similar to the gold star the Jews were required to wear on their clothing, just make a little digital patch. It can be in the likeness of Osama Bin Laden with his headress on. Make all these UNDESIRABLES wear it on their foreheads like a Bindi. You know, the sign of holiness that the Indians wear on their third eye.So we just have to LOOK AT THEM TO KNOW THAT BUSH AND THE EU FINDS THEM TO BE BAD PEOPLE. WHY SHOULD OUR GOVERNMENTS ONLY KNOW WHO THE BAD PEOPLE ARE?
IF THERE IS A TERRORIST IN MY MIDST I WANT TO KNOW WHO THEY ARE.
And if it comes down to it, I’ll be wearing one of those patches, even though I’m whiter than that shitty bread stuff. But only by dumb luck because my ancestors were Slovak. Oh my god. I think they are terrorists now too! So there you go.
If this idea insults you IT SHOULD. But that is what BUSH and the EU are doing, and we should not let these SCAREDY CATS WHO ARE AFRAID OF THEIR OWN SHADOWS RUIN THE WORLD FOR THE REST OF US.
