Here’s a flashback from November 2010: Oil Could Be On Brink Of Terrifying Move Higher.

If you’re doing well on the longside of oil, just keep an eye on that U.S. Dollar Index. It’s nearing uptrending support (drawn from daily swing lows) around 77.2.

Oil prices rose another 2% on Wednesday, extending gains from the previous session, as traders kept a wary eye on the growing political shift in the Middle East.

Crude futures for April delivery edged up $2.14, or 1.3%, to $97.60 a barrel in New York.

    Meanwhile, in Cushing Oklahoma, they are running out of tanks to store the oil from the Tar Sands and there is talk of building another pipeline to Houston. Also Lindsey Williams is predicting 6.00 a gallon gas and starving the Arabs by drilling the oil under the Rocky Mountains at a cost of only sixteen bucks a barrel. A tidy profit there.
