Steorn: Wide Distribution of Technology Immediately After Validation
January 14th, 2007I still don’t understand why they just didn’t release the thing into the wild… The alt energy community would have validated the technology, or not, in days, rather than months.
If this is a joke, we’re all still waiting for the punchline.
Via: Steorn:
Steorn, the Irish technology development company, has today announced that its free energy technology will be made widely available to the development community immediately after the independent scientific validation process that is currently underway.
Under the terms of a modified general purpose licence and for a nominal fee, Steorn’s intellectual property will be made available concurrently to all interested parties, from individual enthusiasts to larger research organisations. Steorn is taking this bold move to accelerate the deployment and acceptance of its technology for both humanitarian and commercial products.

Well, I imagine there could be serious liability if they released an untested energy product and it hurt a consumer. What if the thing blew up?
Still, it sounds strange so far…
It’s really simple: energy production requires fuel. When they say they can produce energy w/o consuming fuel, they are lying. It’s a scam.
>>>Well, I imagine there could be serious liability if they released an untested energy product and it hurt a consumer.
Validation. Not sale to consumers. Energy researchers routinely work with potentially dangerous inventions. Warnings and disclaimers work well for that crowd.
Yeah, Stalky. “It’s a scam.” What an interesting response. I’ve never heard that one before…
The biggest scam of all is that wave/tidal power hasn’t been up and running on a massive scale for decades.
Buy six magnets
Then buy thirteen ball bearings the same size as the magnets.
Find a nice curtain track that will hold the magnets and the ball bearings.
Place the magnets on the curtain track about six to eight inches apart.
Forget the magnets’ polarity, just put two ball bearings on the one side of each magnet – mbb mbb mbb with all the bearings facing the same way.
Now imagine that fun little executive toy called Newton’s Cradle, an example of the law of the conservation of momentum: Six ball bearings are suspended in a triangular matrix that transfers the momentum of one or two or three balls.
Once you’ve got your magnets placed – mbb mbb mbb
take your thirteenth bearing and push it slowly toward the first set of mbb – so you have b … mbb.
The first magnet will pull the bearing towards it and when the bearing hits the first magnet there will be a transfer of energy b – mbb so that the bearing on the end will surge off with the momentum of the first bearing’s attraction to the first magnet bmb – b. This bearing then hits the second magnet and so forth until you can’t see the bearings move they are so fast.
Tom,
Will it actually move through the nodes without getting stuck? Have you tried to adapt this on a rotor? All attempts at a pure magnet design that I’ve seen get “stuck” if you know what I mean.
Check out this cool little video of a guy who’s using a linear bearing/actuator to move some shielding into the field:
If you believe in ocean power, this stock has gone up quite a bit in my portfolio.

Don’t get too excited until anything is demonstrated. There are genetic pathological liars (pseudologues) who don’t know the difference between saying something and having it be true. Remember Newman?
