Real Frankensteins
January 16th, 2007* shiver * If you thought the chimeras and the genetic primes were bad—I’m really not kidding—don’t read the piece below before going to sleep.

Hidden deep in a Russian forest, and guarded by soldiers with orders to shoot intruders on sight, the medical research laboratories on the outskirts of Moscow were one of the Soviet Union’s best-kept secrets.
So the carefully-vetted journalists who were allowed past the forbidding perimeter fence on a cold February morning in 1954 were both apprehensive and curious about what lay ahead. Led to a courtyard outside an austere brick building, they waited in the bright winter sunshine to find out why they had been summoned. For a few minutes, only the sound of birdsong and the rustling of leaves filled the air but then a door slowly opened to reveal experimental surgeon Vladimir Demikhov – accompanied by the strangest looking animal they had ever seen.
Blinking unhappily in the daylight as Demikhov paraded it on its lead, this unfortunate beast had been created by grafting the head and upper body of a small puppy on to the head and body of a fully-grown mastiff, to form one grotesque creature with two heads. The visitors watched in horror and fascination as both of the beast’s mouths lapped greedily at a bowl of milk proffered by Demikhov’s assistants.
Resembling something dreamed up by Mary Shelley’s Dr Frankenstein, it seemed literally incredible. But as the Soviet propaganda machine informed the world, this canine curiosity was both very real – and a scientific triumph.
As revealed in a National Geographic documentary to be screened later this month, the creation of the two-headed dog was the first step in an astonishing race by Cold War scientists to achieve the seemingly impossible – the first ever human head transplant. In pursuing this medical goal, Vladimir Demikhov – and his American rival, Robert White – may seem to be the epitome of immoral scientists who ignored all ethical considerations in their pursuit of scientific advance. But in their own minds, they were brilliant pioneers prepared to think the unthinkable for the greater good of mankind.

I don’t know why, but these Frankenstein stories have a real horror.
I’m guessing it is because I despise politicians and lawyers so it doesn’t surprise me when they pull one of their stunts. But, I have a science background, and my friends all my life have been scientists of one type or another. Maybe it is just the horror/realization that everyone is involved in the freakshow that our civilisation has become. To lift a line from a movie: “We all got it coming”. Thinking along the same lines it is as if the entire world has become like Sodom where Lot was unable to find any good men worth saving before destruction.
In any event after reading something like this the quote of one of my old business partners comes to mind: “Drop the bomb! The roaches deserve better than this.”

I find myself agreeing and disagreeing with those who would destroy the planet to cleanse it. What about the truly good people of the earth? Why should those who work tirelessly to cure children’s cancer, or save animals, or pull folks from burning buildings etc; etc; be destroyed as well? Those who are working on electric vehicles,those who create beautiful art? Those who educate fairly…..ahhhhhhhhh I guess there really aren’t enough of them anyway…..pull the switch.

They violate the 1st Amendment by caging demonstrators, opening mail and banning books like “America Deceived” from Amazon.
They violate the 2nd Amendment by confiscating guns during Katrina.
They violate the 4th Amendment by conducting warrant-less wiretaps.
They violate the 5th and 6th Amendment by suspending habeas corpus.
They violate the 8th Amendment by torturing.
The violate the entire Constitution by starting 2 illegal wars based on lies and on behalf of a foriegn gov’t.

Actually, I think you’re all viewing this article with a closed mind. Think about the potential this research has to impact the lives of countless paralysis victims? Put aside the two-headed dog image and instead, replace it in your mind with someone getting up out of a wheelchair after being paralysed for years.
The biggest problem I see in this country right now is the rampant rise of self-declared ‘experts’ who have a ‘background’ in a particular subject or field. Sorry, but lab techs are as much scientists as RN’s are brain surgeons. Don’t pass judgement on that which you do not understand. We’ve become a nation of self-righteous armchair experts in every subject across the spectrum.
I’m a doctor myself who happens to be married to a scientist, so I can see this from both sides of the fence.
If they wre willing to show off a two headed dog,, just think of what they are not showing us… !
If the Russians are willing to do this with dogs,, I cannot help but wonder what the USA is doing with it’s Arabic POWs in the quiet darkness of their mad science labs in Iraq…
I came up on this site thanks to the Jeff Rense site and I found this information very interesting, especaiily with what i saw when in the army. No doubt this has been happening even in the hills of the U. S.! I am glad that this was printed! Thanks, hope many see it and at least grow up a little in knowing that the money we give through tax’s and such, is allowing us to pay for what is about to be unleashed upon the world.

RE: The National ID card in California
Governor Schwarzenegger,
Federal legislation has just been passed that mandates a National ID card be issued to all Americans. Part of this travesty is that this program is supposed to be voluntary, and individual citizens may choose to “opt-out.” However, as with taxes, and the former military DRAFT, there are penalties for those who choose that option. No person may fly without a National ID card, no person may board an Amtrak train or BART without a National ID card, and no person without a national ID card may be admitted to any federal building, no doubt this includes the Post Office as well. This program also will affect things like jury duty, driver’s licenses, and no doubt any money due to citizens from the Federal government such as Social Security Checks, income tax refunds and the like will probably also be withheld  not to mention Medicare and federal prescription drug programs. This is nothing short of BLACKMAIL!
The States are going to have to pay for this one, and since you’re so proud of having just reduced California’s 41 Billion dollar plus debt, all the way back to a mere $4 Billion-it would seem appropriate to ask you just exactly how will the largest state in the nation be able to pay the probably $20 billion plus which this fraud will cost us?

Aside from the barbarity of this federal attempt to segregate the public even further; how you will deal with those Californians (that opt-out): Those that choose FREEDOM over extortion? What about those who are owed the money due them from making lifelong payments into Social Security? This amounts to changing the rules of citizenship after the game’s been played. The Decider has always wanted to do something about Social Security  is this his chosen path to that end?
What about those who retired to foreign countries to be able to live on their Social Security checks? Has the US government been reduced to stealing from seniors and the disabled, just to continue to fund their unilateral and illegal wars?
In 2004 Bush was your guy and you campaigned for him. You missed out on US Military Service, yet you Support-the-Surge, against the will of the majority; so will you take this opportunity to aid of the people in California? Given that you’ve always been ‘All about the money’  what would you have California say to the Federal Government about this new federal plan Âwill you demand that it be repealed  or will you cave-in to this tyranny that seeks to turn Californians into federal serfs unless they opt for freedom, which will only earn them the status of “non-person.”
How can any governor of any state accept the terms of this feral dictate and sleep at night knowing that he or she has denied the real promise of this nation to a huge number of its citizens-in direct violation of the United States Constitution? Or might you see this as someone else recently did:
“As I suspected, this is a one-way street for the feds. How great it is to be King!!! Refuse to participate, lose your SS and Medicare when you retire. Refuse to participate thinking you can get out of paying income tax and a SWAT team will ram your door down at 3:00AM and kill you. Then they will sell your house and all of your belonging so they can collect “back taxes, interest and penalties”. What a racket!”
How do you view this police state tactic that emulates both the Nazi’s and the Russians, in the forties and fifties? Is this just another part of what ‘The Decider” meant when he mentioned “Sacrifice” to the nation, in his last televised address? People are only now beginning to respond to this, because the media has as usual, withheld this news from the general population. But this issue will grow like the Tsunami that wiped out much of Indonesia  especially if this obscenity is allowed to remain on the books!

A series of policy review documents have been published today by the Cabinet Office of the British Government that detail Tony Blair’s desire to implement radical “crime tackling” measures that would not look out of place in the most hellish of dictatorship states on the face of the planet.
Blair has said that measures including microchipping the mentally ill and injecting sex offenders with hormones to negate their desires, so called “chemical castration”, are aimed at ensuring that a “new New Labour” agenda will take the Government into the next election after he steps down.
Blair announced that the measures were intended to shake up a public that are “getting bored” of the government.
One document, entitled Crime, Justice And Cohesion, says there will have to be “trade-offs” between liberty and security as technology and profiling are used to tackle crime.
The policy paper also calls for the possible implementation of technology such as face and voice recognition, a DNA database, identity cards, and satellite surveillance.
The papers come at a time when Blair is fiercely defending plans to centralise data on all citizens, calling it “sharing data in a sensible way so the customer gets a better service”, while critics and opposition MPs are labeling it “a database from the cradle to the grave”.
The plans for a central database are nothing new, we have previously highlighted the long term agenda to centralise information into one giant hub that will link into the already existing DNA database and hook up to a national ID card.
Without ANY parliamentary debate or legislation, every person in this country is being targeted for inclusion on a DNA database from birth. Hundreds of thousands of children aged between 10 and 18 have had their DNA added to the database despite never being cautioned or charged for any offence.
The British government has also passed legislation to make every offence arrestable. Under Section 44 of the Terrorism Act, this includes not giving your details if stopped by police. Every suspect arrested, even if proven innocent, has their DNA added to the criminal database and stored forever in perpetuity.
Meanwhile EU officials are crying out for a massive pan-European network of DNA and fingerprint databases which would also be open to the Department of Homeland Security in the US. This does not bode well for anyone who values privacy given that the UK, the most advanced big brother state, is also the biggest critic of such a project.
Medical records would be stored on the database also, as well as on an implantable chip that may be given to anyone considered to be mentally unstable. Under the new mental health act you can be sectioned for mild depression.
Take the recent case of Anna McHugh, who visited her GP after a failed intensive cycle of IVF treatment. She admitted that she was a little depressed and needed some help.
Four hours later she found herself admitted to St Pancras Hospital. Then, having admitted to the attending doctor that she had contemplated suicide, she was sectioned under Section 5.2 of the Mental Health Act and detained in a lock-down ward. When her husband tried to rescue her, she was held in a headlock while a doctor discussed her case with him.
In light of this and many other cases, is it so far fetched to imagine people being forcibly implanted with microchips under the mental health act?
The government doesn’t seem to think so.
The paper also notes how Switzerland prescribes heroin rather than the substitute methadone to addicts and prisoners in Texas are forced to wear pink T-shirts to make them look gay.
Blair will be proud to see these things and more associated with his legacy in Britain.

I don’t beleive a word of it. This is a hoax.
It was these experiments, that were published in Life magazine in the late 1950’s and early 60’s, that led Russia to have the first micro-surgery to reattach lost limbs of people. Today, almost every hospital in the world uses the micro surgery technology that Russia pioneered in the 1950’s.
All this and people think the ol’ resident evil games are so farfetched…but hey they could have wiped a “racoon city” clean off the map in one of the least populated areas of the world and no one would’ve been the wiser, whos to say such an event hasen’t occured…or worse…whos to say that it won’t occur in the future?
We as Intelligent folks know that anytime a weapon can be made from something, the military (any military, not just the US) will want it produced, with this in mind, how do we know that reanimated corpses or hunters/tyrants/”lickers” etc. aren’t being cold stored in the basement of dyncorp or the pentagon or some other corporate/private enterprise?

Just a comment to the two headed dog (whatever).
I somewhat re-call mention of this matter during the late ’50’s early ’60’s but being a young guy my interests were at other places so I did not pursue the subject – now so many years later I see reference to it again (now I am not a young guy,whatever young is) I still am not going to pursue the subject – – – BUT just a comment – over the past 50 years or so I have observed the development of mankind and a question arises which is who are to fault for all these experiments? Damn it why don’t we wake up and accept the fact that this is going on to-day byb all world governments. (I’ll let you use your own imagination). I have, in discussion with my friends and family, gotten myself into trouble with this statement – – here goes; “Mankind as far as I am concerned is filth on this planet; he has absolutely done nothing to improve it or develop a better system of co-habitation. From what I understand we only use 10% of our brain capacity and everything that we have done in the past and what we are doing to-day indicates this fact. ALL WE HAVE EVER DEVELOPED OVER OUR TIME OF EXISTENCE ON THIS PLANET IS A METHOD OF HOW TO BLOW US ALL UP i.e. evaporate ourselves. Are we ever an intelligent form of life?”

I have only a small comment – the wars will come, times of trouble like none have ever seen before, disease epidemics, pestilence and so forth with weather changes none has ever experienced … has anyone noticed the Big Dipper is way out of wack? Well, wars will continue and you will want to hide under your bed – but will find no escape to this insanity. There is only one solution to it all, “the Peaceful Solution”, war will not save us, transplanting organs that only allow the donor more life as he/she takes over the life of the recipient – check it out – it is a fact.

i find this slightly hard to swallow, about as hard for the grafted head to be able to swallow! microsurgery, and medical equipment were not far enough advanced in the mid ’50’s to accomplish this. just attaching a swallowing reflext nerve from the puppy head to the adult dog’s nervous system would have been impossible at that time! sorry, i have an open mind, but i really don’t belive this. maybe the nat geo special will show actual footage of this, but unless they do i say myth busted, but chimeras and genetic manipulation are 2 subjects rife for discussion at this point in medical science.
