China’s Quake Aftershock: 5 Million Homeless

At the relief operations center in China’s mountainous Qingchuan county, government workers are still in emergency mode nearly a month after the devastating May 12 earthquake. Powerful aftershocks, heavy rains and dangerous “quake lakes” keep them from devoting all their attention to their primary task: getting the county’s residents into tents.
But even as they work to provide temporary shelter, officials are looking ahead to an even more formidable problem: When the ground stops shaking and the dust settles, this county alone will have 250,000 people who will need new homes.
It is not just a question of rebuilding what was here. Some towns lost not only their buildings but also the land they were standing on and scarce cropland when landslides hit from both sides, said Xiang Zhichun a young public affairs worker.

“A lot of crops were buried, polluted and spoiled,” said Xiang. “After the earthquake there is not enough flat area to live.”
Qingchuan is but one corner of a disaster area roughly the size of Kentucky. And its population accounts for just a fraction of an estimated 5.5 million people left homeless by the earthquake. The number of homes needed may go even higher, suggest some analysts, based on Beijing’s announcement last week that some 15.5 million people have been “relocated” because of the quake — a number that the official Xinhua News Agency published without elaboration.
Oh wow. New York City, last I heard, has eight million residents, so five million is the equivalent more than half the population of the USA’s largest city. It is also the equivalent of the population of my home state of Wisconsin, give or take half a million. And if China still has a population of 1.2 billion, then a bit less than one half of one percent of their population is homeless from this. That would be like a natural disaster making 1.5M homeless in one strike here in the USA.
I’ve spent some time looking for the “cause” of this earthquake.

Very disturbing that there was no similar information on the US Geological Survey website.
This site was once the el primo place to go when world wide events, such as the Indonesian tsunami, Hurricane Katrina occurred etc, etc. I used to be able go to that website, and anyone 10 years old could could get graphics and scientific explanations in people-speak and understand what had happened.
NO MORE!
I went to USGS.gov (subset of NOAA) tonight and was taken to a web page at USGS where I had to fill in a data form with information on the China quake only a scientific observer would know how to fill out. Thus no explanation. No information.
It’s a sad day in hell folks. And yes, it is most likely probable that I’ve had my head up my keitster for several years now. I don’t think I’ve understood that it is no longer a free and flowing web of information out there. But Oh, it used to be so much “fun” that you could go out on the web and learn that well, dolphins were beaching like crazy on the beaches right before the tsunami (indicating unnatural human electronic activity- sonar); and that folks heard explosions on the dikes in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina before the BIG FLOOD came on.
That there isn’t even ONE article by anyone on the web that is easily accessible to me (I searched on tectonic plates and China (tectonic plates usually are the cause of earthquakes)means that the web is being censored of most things that contain meaningful information. Yes, I know, we’re not supposed to care or wonder why when 15 million people are displaced due to an earthquake. Here in the U.S. we are fed news, and our lives have been permanently dissed-placed due to buildings in NYC being destroyed 7 years ago that killed “maybe” 3K. Sure and the whole world now revolves around this “disaster.”

15.5 million Chinese lives being “relocated” what exactly does that mean???!!!! is it so much less important than whether George Clooney decides he doesn’t want to get married again. Ask the web pages of Google, Yahoo, and Comcast. They’ll tell you whats news, and it ain’t about the Chinese, those slant eyed folks who have enriched corporations the world over. Yeah, right who gives two shits about THEM?
Yes, it is what it is.
My guess is that prior to the quake, there were lots of folks in China who decided to unionize for a fair wage, clean water, good food, good air etc.

Nothing wrong with being “out there”. The problem I have with chanelled entities in general is not so much that I’m a skeptivik who believes they are all humans putting on a fake show (though come “channels” certainly are that); it’s more that it’s so easy to get an entity with its own agenda or one who thinks it knows more about the cosmic whole than it actually does.
In the case of the “Matthew” entity, whoever that actually is endorses the NESARA scam. Why do I think NESARA is a scam? Aside from my discomfort with the New Age movement in general (not because I’m a Christian or anything such as that), the whole idea behind NESARA seems somewhat akin to being a naive child waiting for Santa Clause to come down the chimney with a sack full of goodies for you. This is particularly naive when one is expexting the US Federal Government to be that Santa Clause, IMHO!
Yuh, I am embare-assed that I posted that link. I think though for me though that Matthew confirms the sense of logic within me – that a force major is using their negative force in MANIPULATION of peoples, climate, etc. etc. etc. on our planet.
