Biologists have been left mystified by millions of tiny purple creatures washed ashore on beaches in Hawaii.

The pea-sized, crab-like animals are dotting the beaches in Honolulu but scientists are yet to determine what they are, TV station KHON2 reports.

    Then there’s this story which is covered by the same reporter with regards to Hover Crafts in the same area. Can’t tell if it was day before, after or same day. Think day after according to the date.

    @cgroove69 Nice catch that the same reporter was involved. I don’t suppose any of them could put two and two together though. A perfect example of why I can’t watch TV news. If I watched, I’d HAVE to kill my television. It’s much better having the news filtered through Cryptogon.

    I agree. I only caught it because I happened to watch them the same day. I don’t follow the MSM anymore. Cryptogon and a few other sites is where I get my news from.

    mmm, I think that a species of crab just had a good recruitment event this week. If you were able to sample the coastline frequently, there might be a lot of jellyfish one month and then bunch of sculpins the next.
