Look on the bright side — they won’t have to worry about Iran stealing their money.

48% of California students are eligible for free school lunch (family at 130% of poverty) and another 8% eligible for reduced price meals ($40k for 4 person family). http://www.kidsdata.org/data/topic/dashboard.aspx?cat=39 I looked this up to make a point – many animal shelters are charging $300+ to adopt a dog or cat. The argument is that they have vet costs, and they first don’t want to give them out free when a bad person could take them for target practice, but they also want to filter out people who couldn’t afford to feed the dog and pay for vet bills. I wonder how much it should cost to feed your children for one day?
Im not that low yet, but I looked at an add today re selling metals, which I think right now would be a really dumb thing. But I thought about it. I thought what good would it be for me to have a healthy balance in my bank accounts when there is no interest being paid on those funds? Is this just a US phenomenon re no interest?
Used to be I could pay my Mom’s bills off of the interest on her principal. Now I can’t even imagine how retirees are not drawing down on their principal.
Thanks BEN. YOU SUCK and SO DO YOUR POLICIES.
