May 27th, 2013

It’s looking like a wide miss on earnings this month. Thanks to DE for making it a lot less wide.

    Hey Kevin,

I tried to pay you through Amazon but they asked for my Social Security number? Little bit hesitant to do that …some other way to get it to you? I don’t use PayPal. I do have a BNZ acct.

    Hi Windhorse,

I don’t know why Amazon Payments asked you for your social security number. There was another Cryptogon supporter who had been using Amazon Payments for several months and then the system just decided that she needed to submit her social security number. She refused and now she uses a different method.

I’ll email you my Internet banking details for NZ.

I, too, tried to make a donation via Amazon payments, as I have done many times before (though not lately, sorry, Kevin), and was asked for my SSN. WTF, Amazon? NFW. Plus they want a “security question” and all the options were way too personal for me. So I used Paypal, which is good enough for me for now.

I had the same story with Amazon and another crap fest with Paypal. I now use the paypal “not have an account” to send contributions to Cryptogon. It works like a breeze.
Hopefully all commenters will send their contributions to Cryptogon one way or another!!! My life force requires feeding from this site and its related ones daily and if it goes down I will go crazier than I am already.
