    Frightening but I can confirm what that article says.

    Where I live the people are SO rude with their phones. I once invited a friend and her husband over for a movie and halfway through the movie she started texting someone from her phone!

    I’ve also had it where I have met someone for coffee (supposedly to socialise and catch up) only to have them take phone calls while we are chatting/having coffee or text/browse the internet! How rude! Why bother meeting up at all if you are going to live in your phone?! Are you honestly unable to step away from your phone for one hour to speak to a real live person?

    So sad. I make it a point to ignore my phone when I am speaking to someone.
