BBC Hit Piece a Tissue of Lies, Bias and Emotional Manipulation

February 20th, 2007

I didn’t even see the bucket of bollix, and I don’t plan on seeing it either. Reading about it was enough for me.

I can’t do the 9/11 official story vs. conspiracy thing anymore. Anyone who thinks those towers came down the way the official government story says they did is either clinically nuts, or in on the scam. It’s one or the other.

But if you’re still keeping track, after all this time, here are some point by point takedowns of this nonsense put out by the BBC:

The third option, people I know, are just plain oblivious. Sometimes big lies are the easiest to believe.

Because, who in their “right” mind would believe that our own govt could be capable of such horror? (Gasp!)

I remember reading a quote attributed to some Nazi official, Goebbels maybe, which basically said: “The way to get people to believe any lie is to make the truth unbelievable”.

My friends and family won’t even give me the chance to show them the evidence that undermines the official story. The mere concept is so unfathomable to them that they won’t even consider it.

My “True Believer” acquaintances ask “But why would the government do such a thing!?” and “People are basically good, even the ones in power”. It seems to all hinge on what kind of propaganda one feeds one’s self, or is fed.

It is a natural human defensive mechanism at work. In order to avoid seeing what is right there, like a dead body, most will simply avoid looking at it. Others will deny it is even there. For some, it really is not there, their minds simply refuse to register it.
