Oracle Execs Sell Stock Near 13-Year High

Two insiders at software giant Oracle sold 1,700,000 shares for $64,141,070, an average of $37.73 each, from Jan. 2 through 7, just after shares hit a 13-year high.
Thomas Kurian, executive vice president of product development, exercised options and sold 1,200,000 Oracle (ticker: ORCL) shares for $45,201,920. Kurian now holds 32,327 shares directly, a stake of less than 1%. Kurian’s most recent previous transaction was on Oct. 28, 2013, when he exercised options and sold 350,000 shares for $11.7 million, an average of $33.33 each.
President Mark V. Hurd exercised options and sold 500,000 shares for $18,939,150 through a 10b5-1 planned sale. Hurd now directly holds 1,000 shares of Oracle. His most recent previous transaction was on Dec. 2, 2013, when he exercised options and sold 500,000 shares for $17.6 million, an average of $35.14 each, also through a 10b5-1 planned sale.
