    So while it’s true that google and other companies are using AI to manipulate public opinion, we need to remain aware that their objective is social division and control as opposed to supporting any candidate or platform. Trump and Hillary are two sides of the same coin and we’re no better off with one than with the other. If you’re rooting for one party over another you’d be better off supporting the Chicago Bears for president. Americans looking for any kind of outsider/savior/good-guy candidate are deluding themselves. There will literally never be an election in this country where both parties and candidates aren’t firmly in the pocket of the powers that run America from the shadows.

    @Adam B: I certainly agree with your perspective, but I think “they” could let Bernie have the White House for 4 years, letting him get absolutely nothing done, in order to send a powerful message that outsiders are never worth voting for, even if they win! That would be an excellent mind-fuck, and our plutocratic overlords are all about the mind-fuck.
