It’s telling that they didn’t mention Icke by name anywhere in the article.

An underground network of conspiracy theorists are plotting together to undermine democracy. Conspiracy theory must be stamped out before it can achieve its goal!
I used to be embarrassed to frequent such sites as zerohedge (cryptogon was always a cut above of course!) due to the volume of fear-mongering and unfounded conspiracy theory. As of 2020 the last remaining British news source, The Guardian, is now wall-to-wall fear-mongering and unfounded conspiracy theory. Might as well read zerohedge.
An anti-Trump neighbour’s Facebook food looks like roughly like this:
– can Russia steal the US election *again*?
– Ha-ha, look at these absurd conspiracy theorists finding patterns in noise!
– Trump is hiding mailboxes to steal the election!
At this point, conspiracy theory is essentially ‘any explanation for events not printed in the New York Times’
