According to Kyle Kulinsky on YouTube, we won’t really know how bad Trump’s case will be until the ninth day. In this instance, that would be the upcoming Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

I’m sticking with: “There is no way to know what is actually happening. We are now in a sort of Palace Intrigue phase,” from a couple of days ago.

    However, I just found this:

    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-trump-dexamethason/experts-raise-questions-about-severity-of-trumps-covid-19-idUSKBN26P111

Doctors not involved in treating President Donald Trump for COVID-19 said the fact that he has been started on dexamethasone – a generic steroid widely used in other diseases to reduce inflammation – is evidence his case is severe.

Trump’s medical team on Sunday said the president was started on the steroid after experiencing low oxygen levels, but his condition was improving and he could be discharged from the hospital on Monday.

Let’s assume, for shits and giggles, that we can believe the CDC:

    https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/planning-scenarios.html

Percent that die among those hospitalized. Includes both non-ICU and ICU admissions: ?65 years: 26.6%

Let’s also assume that the medical staff are actually trying to keep him alive.

My throw-a-dart-at-the-wall guess would be that his chances of dying from this are under 15%.

Keep in mind, some unknown number of those 65 and over deaths in hospitals were due to murder-by-ventilator-for-profit.

Maybe we can get a sanity check on the above from someone with relevant expertise???

Yes, I suppose His Orangeness could actually kick the bucket, and then they would just have Silicon Valley create a CGI Trump who would then be president for the next four years. The past five years have been so bizarre, I would not be entirely shocked if something like this happened.

It wouldn’t surprise me, though, if the man is well aware of the roles of all the little things that make a big difference to risk, i.e. D3, Zn, C, etc.
