Update: Musk Tweets Apple And Twitter “Resolved Misunderstandings” About Potential App Store Removal

Elon Musk is not going along with the crackpot woke censorship program at Twitter, and he is going to release details on the censorship that occurred in the past.

Apple has a serious problem with all of this.

In addition to pulling advertising from Twitter, Musk said that, “Apple has also threatened to withhold Twitter from its App Store, but won’t tell us why.”

An interesting exchange happened after Musk asked, “Who else has Apple censored?”

@LBRYcom: During Covid, Apple demanded our apps filter some search terms from being returned. If we did not filter the terms, our apps would not be allowed in the store.

Apple may make good products, but they have been opposed to free speech for some time.

@elonmusk: What terms?

@LBRYcom: Apple disallowed almost anything related to Covid, especially vaccines or human origins of the virus.

We had to build a list of over 20 terms to not show results for, only on Apple devices.

Apple also later rejected us because users included Pepe images in videos.

@elonmusk: Secret suppression of free speech by Apple. Customers were never told. What the hell is going on here?

Most corporate media has come unhinged over Musk allowing a greater degree of freedom on Twitter. Glenn Greenwald explored this in detail, if you’re interested.

    Kevin, do you honestly believe a billionaire like Musk is someone who truly wants to change the system?

  2. Kevin says:

    I don’t know, but the woke industrial complex has lost its collective mind over what he’s doing.

    It definitely suits Musk to prod at this gaping sore. However, Musk will definitely ride the heck out of the ‘free speech’ train all the way to establishing his own monopoly. At that point, we’ll find out if he’s interested in freedom of speech or power, profit, and control. Maybe he could do both? Maybe.
