U.S. Prisoners Part of Hidden Workforce Linked to Hundreds of Popular Food Brands

A hidden path to America’s dinner tables begins here, at an unlikely source – a former Southern slave plantation that is now the country’s largest maximum-security prison.

Unmarked trucks packed with prison-raised cattle roll out of the Louisiana State Penitentiary, where men are sentenced to hard labor and forced to work, for pennies an hour or sometimes nothing at all. After rumbling down a country road to an auction house, the cows are bought by a local rancher and then followed by The Associated Press another 600 miles to a Texas slaughterhouse that feeds into the supply chains of giants like McDonald’s, Walmart and Cargill.

Intricate, invisible webs, just like this one, link some of the world’s largest food companies and most popular brands to jobs performed by U.S. prisoners nationwide, according to a sweeping two-year AP investigation into prison labor that tied hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of agricultural products to goods sold on the open market.

Prisoners raise the cattle this year, are the cattle next year… then what, become fertilizer? Somebody’s dinner?

Genocide was unthinkable in 1950, but we just looked the other way in 1988 (the Kurds, whom we had promised to protect), and now we support it (with some ineffectual resistance) in Gaza and Ukraine (genocide of Ukrainians by the Ukrainian leadership, a govt practice coming soon to a country right under your feet). And most of us support abortion (two-thirds of Americans, according to Gallup).

Why not cannibalism next? We knew it was common in some parts of the world into the 1800’s, and we worked to stop it. Then Idi Amin did it in the 1970’s, and he only got forced to retire to Saudi Arabia (he was a Muslim) and live in luxury. Now, when the globalists consider raising bugs vs.other animal resources that raise and reproduce themselves if permitted and that work for them while doing it… what can we expect?

It was Christianity that put an end to genocide and cannibalism everywhere Christians had the power to do so. The globalists have been doing their best to eliminate Christianity and have certainly reduced its number of followers and its influence, allowing if not encouraging the return of genocide, so why not the return of cannibalism, too, given the excuse that cattle pollute the air too much and bugs bite or eat the furniture or fly away?

I’m not trying to be gross or bizarre, but only to identify what may happen to us, based on what people have done to each other in the past, so that we can be prepared if it does happen again in our time. And I am indeed promoting Christian values above all others because they protect all life, not just the lives of the biggest and meanest.
