    I enjoyed the history lesson, and thought the restraint in talking about some of the things Carlson was pressing him on was probably necessary at this stage.

    Dr John Day puts up good commentary and articles on his blog every few days, and in commentary subsequent to the first article, he conveys one of the main things left “politely” unsaid—the consumption of countries by the financial elite, like the asset-stripping that was supervised by the “Harvard Boys” in 1990’s Russia

    “The other thing Putin left politely unsaid?, though repeatedly asked “why” by Carlson, was that neoliberal financial capitalism needs to consume Ukraine and Russia or collapse into itself, because it is an expansionist financial structure which consumes “assets” like Ukrainian farmland, mines and industry, having already consumed those in the US and EU.”
