One Response to “The Cultural Revolution Is Here”

  1. Snowman says:

For anybody not familiar with Chinese history or the specifics 1900-now:

In this brief interview, Xi is necessarily covering only the parts of the Chinese Cultural Revolution that correspond with the current US situation, and only some highlights of those. I wish she’d had time for more, so listeners could get a clearer idea of things like working on a communal farm. How many times in those 3 years did she get to wash herself? Maybe 3 a week with a rag and a bowl of cold water. How many times could she bathe her whole body with soap and warm running water? Maybe never. Why? Because being kept dirtier that a peasant would cleanse her mind of her innate bourgoise thought and beliefs — the daily self-criticism sessions didn’t cause enough suffering to complete the job. And how often will our own city folk be bathing after the electricity goes off, as we are repeatedly told will happen?

Everything she says accords with the several autobiograhies of other China escapees that I’ve read. I don’t think Westerners can understand what China went through unless they read her book and several of these autobiographies, including those of escapees who lived in China in the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s. It’s just hard for the mind of a comfy, secure Westerner (like me) to absorb. From the time of the last emperor till Mao’s team got everything locked down and under their control, (1980’s?), the Chinese have lived in periodic bursts of terrorism, up close and personal. We are headed in the same direction (9/11, San Franciscio looters).

Sometimes she leaves a sentence short of a few words so that it doesn’t quite make sense in English, as in, “The teachers are Marxist, they don’t want to teach communism,” meaning the history of communism as it actually has been applied in the world. They do teach Marxist philosophy, but they don’t get into how it has repeatedly worked out in real life (China, Russia, North Korea). If one asks about, say, Stalin, the reply is, “Oh, but he didn’t do it right. We will.” Tienaman Square? “Oh, but you have to break some eggs to make an omelet.” Or they quote Mao, whose Little Red Book has a quote for every occasion that needs an excuse.

She makes the point that few people think there is a better way when they’ve known only one way all their lives (our students and teachers) and when that way is enforced by both frenzied devotion to a political leader (Obama, AOC) and severe punishment for people who question it (J6ers). I think that’s our biggest problem, the young people who’ve been psyoped from birth and recoil in horror from the truth, which is indeed becoming more horrible every day. The globalists and their sycophants would be no problem if all of us just laughed at them, ignored their dictates and got on with our lives, locking them up if they got too interfering. To cooperate with them or even tolerate them is to enable them.

We mature adults need to take back our own natural authority and exercise it. We don’t have to be polite, we have to be direct and honest. We don’t have to keep up with the latest Newspeak to be cool, we have to use the traditional common language to be clearly understood. We don’t have to be generous or self-sacrificing, we have to take care of ourselves and insist everybody else take care of him/herself, with charity only for the disabled. We have to teach personal responsibility to our children even if that means forcing it on the psyoped ones: those who don’t earn the money to buy a car can’t have one; even the budding world’s-greatest violinist has to make his bed and take out the garbage. If we all do it — if it becomes the norm again, the American way — the psyoped will wake up or fade out.

Meanwhile, we must toss out our current education system and put new, rational, fact-oriented teachers and curricula in those buildings. Then we won’t have any psyoped people threatening our existence anymore.

There’s a new psychopath born every day, though, so we’ll have remain alert. Eternal vigilance of the price of freedom.
