During a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee on Tuesday, Department of Defense officials testified that they are preparing for the possibility of an influx of Haitian illegal immigrants coming to the US as the Caribbean nation has fallen into chaos.
I was in the Miami area when Carter let all the Cubans come over. Miami became a different place overnight, and not a nicer one, since Castro emptied his prisons and mental hospitals as well as letting ordinary refugees leave. I’d never seen iron bars on house windows before, but the Cuban neighborhoods put them up, and now they’re everywhere. The Haitian presence there has been an on-going problem since the 1970’s. I feel sorry for Desantis — good luck to him!

No state has done more to supplement the (under-resourced) U.S. Coast Guard’s interdiction efforts; we cannot have illegal aliens coming to Florida.”
So now it’s both TX vs the feds and FL vs the feds, on land and on sea.

This seems like a logical conclusion based on the surreal chain of current events. And Trump lauding the clot-shots is a reminder that they are now controlling the transmission. They control the horizontal and the vertical. They can deluge us with a thousand channels or expand one single image to infinity, and beyond.
