Global Hawk to Fly 1st Mission Over U.S.
November 20th, 2006Via Breitbart:
They’ve become a fixture in the skies over Iraq and Afghanistan, a new breed of unmanned aircraft operated with remote controls by “pilots” sitting in virtual cockpits many miles away.
But the Air Force’s Global Hawk has never flown a mission over the United States.
That is set to change Monday, when the first Global Hawk is scheduled to land at Beale Air Force Base in northern California.
“This landmark flight has historic implications since it’s the first time a Global Hawk has not only flown from Beale, but anywhere in the United States on an official Air Combat Command mission,” base spokesman Capt. Michael Andrews said in a statement.

Hi Kevin, Global Hawk could be preparing for derivatives bubble burst?
Can you help us understand how the derivatives trading market works, could unwind, and who benefits and who loses?
Perhaps something to think about as you are milking? 😉

The biggest bubble of all – derivatives Trading Soars to $370 Trillion – it will be the root cause for global depression.
An interesting data came out from the Bank for International Settlements. The global market for derivatives soared to a record $370 trillion in the first half of 2006. It is the highest ever and the bubble is bigger than any one can imagine.
The kind of euphoria in derivative trading has never been seen before. The amount of outstanding credit-default swaps contracts jumped by 60% at the end of last year. This year the rise is even faster. It is a typical pyramiding technique. Money is creating false concept of money and that in turn is creating ever lager conceptual money. When the tide blow off and balloon bursts, the catastrophe will be unimaginable. The 1929 debacle and resulting depression will be miniscule to what is coming.
Thanks, George
Or maybe this is just a government works program to transfer our tax dollars to military contractor campaign donors.

11/18/06 “fpif” — — War, instability, and high oil prices have created a perfect storm of profit for the world’s weapons manufacturers. This year, military analysts predict the biggest arms bonanza since 1993 … which is saying something because in the aftermath of the first Gulf War the global industry reaped the benefits of a $42 billion arms race.

Interesting bit that one…
Makes you think what they might be up to with seven of these babies by 2009?

Can you fashion a hand crank front loader washing machine? The bigger version of that machine in the picture for washing clothes. Then you just sit in your recliner chair and watch the cow while cranking it with one hand. Probably gets clothes cleaner too. It’s kinda painful to use the plunger.
For some reason, I predict if they start running missions over America during any civil unrest, quite a few good ol’ boys with their 30 caliber rifles will be taking pot shots at it. 🙂 If they’re flying too low, they may lose their nice toy.
Think of the opening scene of “Air America”. 🙂

Low-Effort washing machine:
1. Fill large cow watering tub with water.
2. Float 55 gallon polypro oil drum ontop.
3. Load with clothes, water and soap and seal.
4. Merrily rotate floating drum.
Bonus points:
Use refill hose to rotate drum like waterwheel.
You guys are great! Simultaneously discussing an $80 million piece of military hardware and weird washing machine designs. Throw in the possibility of taking out said military hardware with man portable arms, and the $370 trillion derivatives market…
Must be Cryptogon!
Ok, I’ll count the references to Farmlet over here as a vote to open up the comments over there…
You’d be surprised how well that plunger thing works, though! Letting the stuff soak overnight seems to help. I probably spend no more than ten minutes plunging per batch of laundry.
I envy and admire you and Becky for doing what many of us would like to do. But I hope you don’t make the mistake of feeling too safe in New Zealand. All empire outposts are catch basins for sociopathic populations: California, Australia and New Zealand, for example.
There are theories that sociopaths are behind many of today’s problems. Are you familiar with the theories of ponerology, the science of evil and evil governments? http://ponerology.blogspot.com/

None of us want to be the “last Jew out of Germany” but I don’t have any where to go, though I am trying to get an additional passport.
You might try hiring (or having!) a couple kids to stomp around in a vat of soapy water & clothes for a half hour or so – kids love stomping in water, even if it’s not a mud puddle, and their mom wouldn’t mind, since they’d end up with nice clean feet…
Course, that might not work too well for the lady’s dainties.
😀
Meanwhile, the rest of us stuck here will be practising rude hand gestures for the unmanned surveillance drones…
