Confidence Destroyed – Capital Flight from the U.S.
February 21st, 2009This small passage doesn’t do the piece justice. It’s worth clicking through to read the whole thing.
Via: Market Ticker:
What’s “really going on” is that our entire financial system has turned into a gigantic clown car. There hasn’t been any recognition that the fundamental problem over the last two decades has been fraudulent lending – giving money to people on loan that the lender knows full well has no real chance of being able to pay it back.
Now, having had that happen, we have not had the Governments of the world step up to the plate, admit what occurred, pledge to prosecute those responsible (on both sides of the table – borrower and lender) where fraud occurred and drain the swamp.

And here is how it’s done in nice graphics and photos:

And here is how the Russian Jewish Mafial and other “Goodfella”, SEC criminals, and their buddies in “law enforcement” destroyed and robbed our financial system to turn us all into serfs:

Don’t look for what the ADL calls our “first Jewish President” (Clinton being known as our “first black president” by his buds in that caucus)and get ready to be searching for weeds to eat by the end of the year in a FEMA Camp.
Last paragraph:
“My personal confidence is shaken and on the verge of being destroyed, at which point I may as well take my wealth and depart the system entirely with it, buying a piece of arable land, some chickens and goats, a passel of firearms with many cases of ammo and, just in case, some horses so I can still get around if we suffer a catastrophic economic collapse.”
I’m not at all an unsympathetic person, but I absolutely have to laugh at these guys…they didn’t see this coming years ago? It was clear to plenty of people (like Kevin, here) what had to happen eventually. Now they want to FINALLY pull their money out of the system and buy their land and other real assets…Heaven forbid they might have done that BEFORE the whole house of cards began to tumble. But you know what? The plain truth is guys like Denninger WON’T do that. They continue to follow each other off the cliff, and rant and blubber the whole time. Because they’re institutionalized. The System is all they know.
I mean, think for a moment what he’s saying: “if somebody doesn’t do something and the financial markets continue to collapse I swear I’m going to pull my money out of them”. Sheesh, what a moroon.
Of course these guys loved playing the rigged/ponzi game, and wholeheartedly supported the Gov’t and the System, while times were good and the money was flowing. Now that it’s crumbling around them they just curse and whine and stamp their feet and point their lily-white fingers at “the people who did this to them” and demand “accountability”. No, they are not going to get off the boat even while it’s sinking with them aboard, because they still don’t get it.
Of COURSE it’s going to collapse. It’s HAS to collapse. The System is the problem. And guys like Denninger have to go down with the ship, because they are the Captains of the ship.
I have to selfishly admit I love watching all the rantings and threats of revolution coming out lately – I no longer want to pretend I don’t enjoy seeing the fools suffer. I couldn’t eat enough popcorn and enjoy the show more. Not that I’m not experiencing hardship with all that’s going on, but it’s minimal hardship, and I’m certainly not upset or afraid by what’s happening.
It’s proper to have sympathy when you recognize that the misfortune of another could well have fallen on you. But when people court and embrace misfortune, and pretend they’re smart to do so…well…just pass some more popcorn, that’s all I can say…
lagavulin you are right. Read the article, then “joined Denninger’s TickerForum” to try to post some kind of response to this article…well, it COSTS at least 10 dollars a month to post to this forum!!! He has a “Joe Sixpack” forum there for non-market trading issues…his Joe Sixpack must make 6 figures a year if he expects the typical Joe Sixpack to contribute 10 bucks a month just to express and opinion! If Denninger runs a forum where you have to pay to post, then clearly he is NOT trying to get out of the system!!!
I also agree that all this BS about “revolution” is strictly entertainment, and, for me and my hubby who can now say we were right all along about getting out of the system and stop consuming, it is funny seeing all these yuppies scrambling to try to do the same. They simply don’t have the mentality or spirituality to do so!
