    Man, it’s heartwarming to see Dr Paul still in the fight–and with people like Rep Thomas Massie gaining traction within congress–the tide is at least turning against the warmongering Neocons.

    I take a v cynical view about all of this. I do not believe that the US deep state clique / elites are really at odds with those in Europe, but rather that (a) a narrative for massive defence spending in Europe is being synthesised through all of this and perhaps (b) Russia is being encouraged to think the US is losing interest in Europe and therefore Europe is ripe for the picking in the very near future. But mostly, I think the objective is (a) above.
