I had a relative who got ALS. He was a young chemical engineer who had been living life to the full. He put up with the pain and increasing paralysis for years, till it got to the point where he couldn’t swallow. He decided that a few more weeks of life under those ever-worsening circumstances wouldn’t be worth it. His wife’s and family’s suffering along with him probably influenced his decision.

Being unable otherwise to improve one’s condition and being mentally competent, fully informed and free to choose for one’s self makes all the difference between an assisted death and a murder.

Seems to be easier to invent deadly vaxxes than to reduce or cure terminal diseases. “Studies predict a substantial increase in ALS cases, with some projections suggesting a 10-20% increase over the next decade.” Ditto cancer, measles, tuberculosis, pneumonia and everything else.

Unless I find myself in my relative’s circumstances, if someone suggests euthanasia to me, I’ll reply, “You do it first to show me how easy it is.”
