Via: Real Clear Politics:
REPORTER: Your memo and release yesterday regarding Jeffrey Epstein left some lingering mysteries. One of the biggest ones is whether he ever worked for an American or foreign intelligence agency.
The former Labor Secretary, who was the Miami U.S. Attorney—Alex Acosta—allegedly said Epstein worked for an intelligence agency.
Could you resolve whether or not he did? And why is there a minute missing from the jailhouse tape?
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy has been talked about for years.
You’re asking—we have taxes, this, and all of the things—and you people are still talking about this guy? This creep?
That is unbelievable.

Now I see why they chose Trump: he has more chutzpah than anybody else.
And he used the same sleazy tactic they used with 911: bringing up anything but the official story is somehow disrespectful to people who have died.
Trump: “It just seems like a desecration.”
What a sleazy cunt.
I remember a public appearance in the early 2000’s by Bill Clinton, and someone asked him about 911, implying it was an inside job. And with all the phony indignation that psychopath could muster, he said, “How dare you…!”
And yet these monstrosities thrive…
I know I’m preaching to the choir here at cryptogon, but the fact than anyone still believes our government is in any way legitimate is just incomprehensible.
“that anyone still believes our government is in any way legitimate is just incomprehensible.”
That sums it up.
For the loyal folk above who’ve also been hanging around this remote corner of the ‘Net since the pre-Farmlet days, I offer this personal anecdote:
Back in the months leading up to The Don’s first coronation in 2016, I was sitting in the Eifel Club at Spangdahlem AFB in Germany, enjoying lunch with a regular circle of ex-pat Americans who’d “gone native” as a result of being stationed in Germany.
Full disclosure : I married an Eifel native and relocated as a civilian in ’02, served in the USMC *many* moons ago, and earn my keep “over here” as a military historian, guide and consultant, which has landed me in some very interesting situations, incl. acquaintance — even friendship — with Pattons, Eisenhowers, etc.
There are plenty of reasons why the USMC was never a career choice, a one-contract deal, but I’ve also never regretted the choice, as the things it was possible to see and learn with a significant security clearance have been quite invaluable in the decades since.
Back at the lunch table, the charismatic Alpha, a retired 82nd Airborne mucky-muck of the Cold War era and a BIG fan of the Trumpster, looked me straight in the eye and called me out loudly in front of the group when I expressed a high degree of cynicism about his role in history.
“What’s your take on him then…?”
Cogitating for a few moments while chewing through my last forkful of steak, eventually my mind settled on an image of Nero, fiddling on the balcony as Rome burned.
Nothing that’s happened between that summer lunch in 2016 and today, among the magnificent Eifel hill country of far western Germany, has caused me to reconsider the basic truth of the vision, now burned permanently in place. In fact, it’s become a reference point.
It’s also worth mentioning that the comment that sparked the aging warrior’s stiff defense of his man’s reputation was a simple expression of my feelings for ALL politicians of every stripe, which as you may imagine demonstrated a complete lack of trust.
In that case, nothing I’ve seen since my eyes were first opened wide by Mr. Davis’ most excellent and (as it turns out) subversive Media class way back in the high school days. A little Derrida, a little uncommon sense and the curtains began parting, revealing tinpot wizards at the levers everywhere the naked eye wandered.
The truth: he is just another actor playing a role. Just another hired gun. Just another agent of chaos. There’s plenty more where that came from.
The Don is here to oversee the end of an era of history, with hubris as his guide. He is a sock puppet.
Pre-Farmlet days–definitely have some nostalgia for those eye-opening days here on Cryptogon.
Miraculix, thanks for sharing that anecdote–do you see distinct competing factions operating behind the front men on the stage (even though agendas overlap for many subjects), such that three of the most powerful ones would be operating through Hilary/Obama, Trump and Putin? Or is the tinpot wizards concept implying a single powerful entity/group pulling all the wizard’s strings?
I found Alex Krainer’s take on the latest Epstein twist worth considering–that Trump is in possession of a bunch of Epstein’s blackmail material, and is using it against the implicated individuals. He did have as his early mentor Roy Cohn, after all–at minute 21:

NH — ditto Saagar Enjeti’s (who is he? where did he suddenly come from?) interview with Tucker Carlson.

I’m so used to speculation on various parts of the picture from all the alt news guys that this agreement on the whole picture is unsettling. And it still doesn’t quite all add up.
The tons of evidence might not all be evidence. One does not store blackmail videos in miscellaneous stacks in wooden cabinets in one’s den, for instance. Bomb-proof vaults are usually underground.
On the other hand, the existence of a blackmail video of RFKjr (he could have been drugged and forced to act) would explain his presence at DHHS and his turn-around on vaccines and fitbits.
It all makes a gripping and titillating mystery tale that keeps the populace on the edge of their seats, not looking for what else might have been going on. And, if the villainous hero and the evidence are dead and buried, it is indeed the end of the story. It makes me wonder what story will be introduced to us next, or if this series will be continued somehow.
It reminds me of how Bohemian Grove just disappeared. Whatever they were doing there, which might have moved on to Epstein’s island, may have moved on again.
What if Epstein’s retreats functioned like 1970’s-90’s professional association conferences used to? They were a combination vacation and business networking opportunity. The attendees were mostly men, some of whom brought their wives. The wives could visit with each other, go to a spa, and shop. The men could play sports, gamble and make sly visits to sexual entertainers. There were dinners and dancing. That was the vacation part. For the business part, the rank and file listened to speeches and discussed the issues raised therein. The officers met behind closed doors and planned how to use the organization to further their ambitions for it and for themselves.
All of this could have been going on when those pics were taken of recognizable male and female politicians and business people and wives in casual clothes, sitting around a table, drinking colorful drinks at Epstein’s island. (The shopping could have been done at at nearby tourist islands.)
Lunch or dinner attendees in Manhattan could have had business meetings with only some staying after for partying.
It may be that the abuse of underage girls was seldom the main event but has been made to look like it was in order to cover up more politically significant goings-on.
I’ve wondered if the kids weren’t there primarily to have their adenochrome harvested and transfused into the guests. The Daily Mail said Queen Elizabeth had those treatments but didn’t say where she got them.
What else might have required the island’s degree of privacy? Were the attendees being trained as to their roles in the new world order? Did they go to Epstein’s in Manhattan for updates?
As you all have heard from me before, I still don’t think it’s certain that Epstein is dead. If he accomplished as much as it looks like he did, he must have been a genius, the lynchpin of his sector of operations, too important to lose. And he must have had more lieutenants on his team than just Ghislaine. He could have been taken from prison, given a new face, and he and his team gone underground. Apparently, there’s a whole new world down there.
