Hegseth Orders Rare, Urgent Meeting of U.S. Generals, Admirals

September 25th, 2025

What are some possible reasons for doing something this stupid?

Via: KABC:

War Secretary Pete Hegseth has reportedly issued a highly unusual order directing hundreds of the U.S. military’s generals and admirals to assemble next week at a Marine Corps base in Virginia — on short notice and without explanation — a move that shocked military leaders.

The directive, sent earlier this week, requires virtually all top commanders worldwide — those holding the rank of brigadier general or higher, or their Navy equivalent, along with their senior enlisted advisers — to attend the meeting at Marine Corps Base Quantico next Tuesday, The Washington Post reported Thursday in an exclusive.

Even commanders in conflict zones and those stationed in Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region are expected to attend. The order does not apply to officers in staff roles.

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell confirmed that Hegseth “will be addressing his senior military leaders early next week” but declined to provide further details, according to the report.

This is perhaps to do with the situation in Europe, where Germany, France and the UK have been talking about being prepared to receive mass military casualties from the eastern front (so to speak). It looks like they are sending troops to Ukraine within months, if not sooner, but they appear to envisage a largely conventional conflict rather than an all-out world war just yet… they seem to be of the view that the latter comes a few years from now.

Whatever it is, couldn’t they do it via video conference?

Why physically concentrate so many senior officers in one place?

  3. cryingfreeman says:

OPSEC perhaps, given the previous fiasco with video conferencing involving Hegseth.

Electronic communications across distances can always be intercepted.

The message may be how we’ll openly fight WWIII on 4 fronts: the Middle East, Europe, South America and the South Pacific. (Venezuela now under maritime attack; Miliel saying he’s taking back the Falkland Islands.)

Or a re-organization of the military’s high-level chains of command. Or the forced retirement or reassignment of many of them.

Or to have them all pass in front of Trump, each saluting and kissing his ring.

Or to blow them all up (but not Trump; he’ll be elsewhere like he was on 9/11.

As tactically unsound as gathering so many executioners in a single location looks, sounds and feels to the strategically minded, now is the perfect moment to hold up McLuhan’s observations about the medium and its relation to the message.

Standing shoulder to shoulder with the oft-repeated lesson that there are ALWAYS multiple missions and objectives nested within official proclamations, whether they’re emanating from civilian/corporate structures, gov’t/military sources or most often the chemical wedding of monopoly Eisenhower nametagged “MIC”.

Squeezing the toxic toothpaste tube, different observations emerge…

In the current schizophrenic social climate, itself a by-product of the ongoing process, at minimum this is a “warning shot” to the “opposition” NPC crowd. Keeping the media firehose blasting at full pressure using SOP “look at the monkey” practice is foundational.

Also not hard to see it as an overt signal of increasing NG presence in the states, as well as a precursor to whatever is planned for Venezuela, who recently signed new agreements with the RF and applied for BRICS membership. Quite a coincidence.

While the function of large scale military gatherings is a marshalling of force on the surface, the unspoken implications range from “fealty forum” to coup d’etat. Odds are high that whatever emerges from the event will be the usual socio-political iceberg.

All we can really know for certain is that the Mighty Wurlitzer will entrain those still tethered to the mass-mind as required, anger those who’ve already broken those bonds AND serve as a focal point for valuable hindsight in the not-too-distant future.

Meanwhile, the sun still rises, geoengineering proceeds and the multi-generational mindf**k of modern media grinds on, even as its methodologies result in a steadily increasing number of souls who simply can’t unsee whatever small part of the towering evil bestride the planet is closest to their own redoubt. If they’ve been clever enough to create one over the last couple decades.

Personally, I’m more and more convinced that so much of the seeming desperation on display among the ownership set — the whole Sabbatean coming out party and their open inversion of and scorn for all things beautiful — is rooted in their awareness of the catastrophist ideas channeled by the likes of Velikovsky, et al.

Step outside the long-compromised realm of “Science” and one finds a massive ongoing body of observation and study that continues to clarify and focus the ideas in play. This is why they’re so inscrutably accelerating our “modern” world towards the canyon rim.

What we’re witnessing is the last big fire sale, a final flurry of internecine competition to control as much as possible of what’s left standing when humanity emerges (once again) from the caves and shelters all “Hresh full of questions”, if you’re a Robert Silverberg fan.

The “great reset” is much larger and all-encompassing than what the programming would have you believe. Cycles gonna cycle. Stars are born, die and sputter (electrically) for reasons we’re only just now rediscovering. We’re just the lucky ones who happen to be here when forces well above our pay grade come a calling.

Just an innocent question, why do you say that this is such a stupid thing to do? I apologize, I can’t imagine what reasons you might have for that t judgement. Can you expand on that please?

  7. Kevin says:

“Just an innocent question, why do you say that this is such a stupid thing to do?”

Placing all of the top leadership of all branches of the U.S. Military in one auditorium would make a tempting target for any number of state and non state actors that are enemies of the U.S.

Nyquist says on his blog that the word is it’s Venezuela + a substantial cull of the brass (maybe the tranny faction rainbow-fixated?), but that’s just a rumour.

As soon as I read the title and Kevin’s comment about how stupid it was, I remembered this scene from Godfather 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bm7MEZpb-fQ

@Miraculix, man, lot to unpack there, but focusing on the last third of your post—

“is rooted in their awareness of the catastrophist ideas channeled by the likes of Velikovsky, et al.”, ” This is why they’re so inscrutably accelerating our “modern” world towards the canyon rim.”, “What we’re witnessing is the last big fire sale, a final flurry of internecine competition to control as much as possible of what’s left standing when humanity emerges (once again) from the caves and shelters”, and “Stars …, sputter (electrically)”.

—those ideas are quite difficult to put into a World mental model, I must say, given that it seems the time is upon us.
