In a move stirring national debate, Mexico’s ruling party Morena has introduced the so-called “Anti-Sticker” Law, a legislative initiative aimed at penalizing the creation and dissemination of memes, stickers, and deepfakes that ridicule public figures—particularly politicians—on social media.
