This “military operation” was a kabuki cover-show for a deal that was made behind the scenes. And the fanaticism I’m seeing from the MAGA Kool-Aid drinkers online in response to this episode confirms for me that both sides (the “other side” being Covidian social-justice purple-hairs) have the potential to ruin this country even more than it has already been ruined by its own inevitable imperial decadence.
