Subreddit Switched to Private Mode
March 13th, 2009For months, people on the Cryptogon Subreddit have been submitting good information, only to have it viciously downvoted by the trolls and idiots who target Cryptogon. Or, maybe it’s just the home grown idiots on Reddit. If you’ve ever looked at stories on there and thought, “What sort of tool would downvote this?” you might be surprised by the crushing weight of dumbness on Reddit. The only reason I use that thing is because there is no lite weight solution that I can run on my own server.
Long story short, the Subreddit is private now.

People are asking to be added to this who don’t know what it is.

Sad but true: it seems to be a haven for cretins, with whom I’ve have some first hand experience. Good move on your part, IMO.
