Scenes from the Recession

The state of our global economy: foreclosures, evictions, bankruptcies, layoffs, abandoned projects, and the people and industries caught in the middle. It can be difficult to capture financial pressures in photographs, but here a few recent glimpses into some of the places and lives affected by what some are calling the “Great Recession”.

The picture from China – really scary.
So many people – so much pain.
If you are 1 in a million in the U.S., you are 1 in a thousand in China. Hard concept for me to wrap my mind around, but oi.
I am very frightened at the the potential anger that might set off a gigantic firestorm.
Nonetheless, I pray. Keep all safe from harm.
I was going to make a joke, but it would be so innapropos.
Instead I bow my head to the “Right Ones” that are teaching me to go inside myself and pray,
even for my enemies.
Years and possibly lifetmes) will be needed to purge Cheney from himself ( I guess that’s why he keeps coming back on the big wheel. One lifetime Hitler, another one Cheney.) But until we meet again.
