United Airlines Confirms Holiday Flight Cancellations As More Cuts Loom Over Fuel Crisis

In response to the elevated fuel prices, United Airlines confirmed at the Morgan Stanley conference that it is looking to reduce capacity during one of the busiest times of the year. The carrier hinted that its cuts may also affect flights into 2027, depending on fuel prices.

Southwest Airlines and American Airlines have responded similarly, looking to cut flights with lower margins at the end of the year.
