    Wow. It looks like a movie set where zombies are going to show up any minute. It’s frightening. How could they just walk away from it like that? But, why not clean the place up and use the space for urban gardening, housing the homeless, skate board track, etc. I grew up in Michigan. It’s been deteriorating for as long as I remember. When given a choice, they always do the wrong thing.

    They left out the word ‘abandoned’ from the description. Much like the old train depot in the background.

    This prompted me to search for photos of the Redmond Nike missile site, near where a friend attended high school. In contrast to the above, this is 2 miles from the Microsoft campus and surrounded by inflated price suburban houses now. It was the coolest place to explore buildings, climb on concrete structures, or for teens to film a fantasy movie. Also, hlaf the buildings had schoolroom furniture/layout and books, as though they actually had put a program or classrooms at this Nike site in the 80s?
