Maniac Fascist Chinese Regime Makes Millions Homeless for Olympics

WANG Baoguan burned himself to death while being forcibly evicted from his Beijing home to make way for the city’s construction project for the 2008 Olympic Games which China hopes will confirm its status as a global power.

He is just one of the estimated 1.5 million residents of Beijing who will be displaced or evicted from their homes – many of them against their will – before next year’s Olympics, the Geneva-based Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions (COHRE) said this week.

“The prospect of being forcibly evicted can be so terrifying that it is not uncommon for people to risk their lives in an attempt to resist; or even more extreme, to take their own lives when it becomes apparent that the eviction cannot be prevented,” said a report compiled by COHRE following an investigation into the alleged harassment and physical violence to which those residents who resist eviction, known as dingzihu, are subjected.

China has denied the criticisms. Beijing’s Olympic organising committee and China’s foreign ministry said the figures were vastly inflated, with only 6,037 people displaced since 2002 for the construction of Olympic stadiums.

“During the process, the citizens have had their compensation property settled,” said a foreign ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu. “No single person was forced to move out of Beijing.”

However, in a case study in the COHRE report on the Beijing neighbourhood of Hujialou which has been marked for demolition, residents told researchers how the area has been transformed into a slum by the demolition-relocation company which removed windows and steel safety doors from all buildings, removed manhole covers and exterior lighting, and scattered debris in the stairways of buildings where roughly one third of the original population continue to live.

Maybe they should have built all of this in the west, in the desert for all the good it’ll do, but that was never the real aim. It was simply a beautification project. Right? Of course it was.

Too bad for the poor bastards who get in the way because the luchre-lined pockets of the bosses ordering, and carrying out, these plans couldn’t give a damn.

Hmmm . . . . Chinese Government Fascist. And here I thought they were a Communist government. Course that would make them “Left Wing” and Socialist wouldnt it.

Couldnt have that now, because that would shine an unsavoury light on where true left wing socialism ends up.

Better to make them look like a “Right Wing” Fascist conspiracy masquerading as Communists. Keeps the conscience clear for Left Wing Idealogues.

BEIJING (Reuters) – A southwestern Chinese city renowned as a “furnace” during the summer has opened up its warren of old air raid shelters to help people beat the heat, state media said on Tuesday.

Chongqing, China’s World War Two capital, would be able to accommodate 10,000 people in the shelters, which are aimed at low-income residents, Xinhua news agency said.

    @ john

You’re obviously not a very sophisticated observer of events, so let me make it a little easier for you:

The endpoint of Communism = Fascism

The endpoint of Capitalism = Fascism

    Got it? Good.

  5. fallout11 says:

Communism and capitalism are examples of economic systems.
Fascism is an example of a political system.
While there is often a strong correlation between certain ideologies, political systems and certain economic systems, many systems overlap each other in various areas. There are also some various mutually exclusive hierarchical categorizations.

The PRC is not a true communist country, and never has been. It is, as Kevin has correctly alluded to, a totalitarian command economy.

“The endpoint of Communism = Fascism”

“The endpoint of Capitalism = Fascism”

Right got it, its all a Right Wing Fascist Conspiracy.

What you should have said was fallen man made government in general without consideration of any political, religious or Atheistic ideologies always ends up in Totalitarianism. Its not the fault of any Political or Religious ideology, its the fault of man’s intrinsic corrupt nature alone.

Now was that sophisticted enough for you? Or did you mean I was not “Left Wing” Sophisticated enough, as there is a very big difference.

    Cheers!
