We explore large-scale training of generative models on video data. Specifically, we train text-conditional diffusion models jointly on videos and images of variable durations, resolutions and aspect ratios. We leverage a transformer architecture that operates on spacetime patches of video and image latent codes. Our largest model, Sora, is capable of generating a minute of high fidelity video. Our results suggest that scaling video generation models is a promising path towards building general purpose simulators of the physical world.

WHO Chief’s Dire Warning: Disease X Outbreak ‘A Matter of When, not If’

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus has issued a new warning about the likelihood of Disease X breaking out, telling global world leaders it is “a matter of when, not if” a new pathogen and pandemic will strike.
Tedros, who goes by his first name and is not a medical doctor, told attendees at the World Government Summit in Dubai earlier his week he gave a similar warning in 2018 that a pandemic was likely to hit, and he was proven right with the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.
Complaining that the world is still ill-prepared for a new pandemic, Tedros once again touted the urgent need for a global treaty to be agreed upon by May and dismissed suspicions of it being a WHO power grab as outlandish.
He called the treaty “mission critical for humanity.”

February 18th, 2024It is possible, maybe even likely, that nothing unusual will happen. (“Nothing unusual,” assumes that you understand that many major U.S. cities are already existing in what I’d consider to be a state of collapse.)
Privately, I have been advising people inside the U.S. to be at full readiness and far away from cities before the election in November. What full readiness means will vary from person to person. At a minimum, I suggest that your definition should include:
– A means to avoid freezing to death
– Adequate water and food for your group
– High capacity weapons and ammunition (with everyone in your group trained extensively in their use)
– Fuel / electricity
– First aid kit
– Communications (Internet, mobile phone, TV, AM/FM radio, CB, shortwave, ham, etc.). However, assume that the Internet and mobile phone networks will be totally or partially down.
While I don’t know if anything unusual will happen, according to the U.S. Army’s 4th PSYOP Group, “All the world’s a stage”:

At the National Sheriff’s Association Conference in Washington. D.C, last week, Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones heard warnings from the FBI of imminent terrorist attacks on the U.S., and he is out to make sure his department is prepared.
“It’s not if they are going to attack, it’s just when they are,” Jones said. “There are people already here who have come to this country who hate us and want to kill us.”
Lines of attack, he said he was told, will be through cyber attacks, crippling power grids, train derailments and cells of armed terrorists who target multiple areas of the country.

Customs and Border Protection’s Top Doctor Tried to Order Fentanyl Lollipops for Helicopter Trip to U.N.

The chief medical officer for the Customs and Border Protection agency repeatedly asked staff members to order fentanyl lollipops for him to take on a helicopter mission to the United Nations in New York City in Sept. 2023, according to a whistleblower report by the Government Accountability Project.
The report was shared with Congress on Friday morning, and stated that Chief Medical Officer Dr. Alexander Eastman allegedly “spent copious hours of his and Office of the Chief Medical Officer staff time directing the OCMO staff to urgently help him procure fentanyl lollipops, a Schedule II narcotic, so that he could bring them on the CBP Air and Marine Operations helicopter on which he would be a passenger in New York City.”
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid and painkiller driving the overdose crisis in the United States. Fentanyl lollipops are an oral version of the drug, and are used to treat pain, according to the Drug Enforcement Agency. Chief among the Customs and Border Protection’s duties as a federal agency is stopping the flow of illicit drugs, including fentanyl, into the United States over international borders.
When asked why he would need fentanyl lollipops to travel to the United Nations’ General Assembly meeting, Eastman allegedly argued that the lollipops would be necessary for pain management in case of an emergency, and were “necessary” in case a CBP operator was injured, or if the Air and Marine Operations team encountered a “patient in need.”
Over half a dozen CBP employees were involved in the “urgent” requests to purchase the fentanyl lollipops, the whistleblowers said, with senior leadership in the office reporting concerns about the process in emails. Eastman’s attempts to order the lollipops were unsuccessful because there was not funding available, the whistleblowers said.

Microsoft Investing 3.2 Billion Euros In Germany For AI Research

A new class of “encrypted RNA” vaccines are being developed where the RNA would piggyback onto an existing wild virus and spread from person to person without any person’s knowledge or consent. Although this may sound like science fiction, it is far from it. Two companies involved in this research have received millions of dollars from the federal government. A study using this technology on hamsters and the SARS-Cov-2 virus has already been completed and a Phase I trial on humans is in the works. ICAN’s attorneys have already sent legal demands to all government agencies involved.

This so-called “therapy” uses a technology called TIPs (Therapeutic Interfering Particles), which are described as “engineered molecular parasites” that piggyback on a wild virus. If you get the virus, you also get these parasites. Once inside an infected person, the TIPs are supposed to rapidly multiply, hijacking the resources the wild virus needs to multiply and therefore stopping the virus.
Supporters of this technology claim it will “solve” several problems with traditional vaccine delivery, including “behavior barriers” like noncompliance. Meaning everyone gets vaccinated—whether they like it or not.

The other company working on similar vaccines, VxBiosciences, appears to collaborate with the J. David Gladstone Institutes, led by Dr. Leor Weinberger—who happens to be Ariel’s brother. Patents are already established, such as this one by Leor and Gladstone Institutes in 2017. In a 2020 TEDMED talk, Leor talked about how using viruses would “convert super-spreaders from spreading the virus to spreading the therapy.”
HHS issued a $4.8 million grant to VxBiosciences for “Autonomously Deploying, Co-evolving SARS-CoV-2 Antiviral.” The grant was for engineering “therapeutic molecular parasites of SARS-CoV-2 that can co-adapt and transmit among infected hosts … acting as single-administration therapies that circumvent compliance issues.”
George Soros Scoops Up 220 U.S. Radio Stations Ahead Of 2024 Election

George Soros has purchased a potentially controlling stake in America’s second-largest chain of radio stations.
According to bankruptcy filings cited Wednesday in the New York Post, his Soros Fund Management has bought $400 million of debt in the Audacy chain.
The Post reported that the Fund’s stake comes to about 40% of Audacy’s debt, at a value of about 50 cents on the dollar.
“Although not a majority, [that] could yield effective control of the media giant when it emerges from bankruptcy,” the Post wrote.
A Republican insider “close to the situation” told the Post that Mr. Soros could be making the election-year purchase in a bid to influence public opinion.
