Chinese Migrants Are Fastest Growing Group Crossing Into U.S. from Mexico, “We Can ‘Soft Control’ Users… To Drive Them Where We Want Them”
February 5th, 2024Before watching the 60 Minutes piece below, please see this article from 2012: Using Virtual Worlds to ‘Soft Control’ People’s Movements in the Real One:
Researchers can’t force mobile users to behave in a certain way, but researchers at Northwestern University have found that they may be able to nudge users in the right direction by using incentives that are already part of their regular mobile routine.
“We can rely on good luck to get the data that we need, or we can ‘soft control’ users with gaming or social network incentives to drive them where we want them,” Bustamante said.
…drive them where we want them.
Now, pay close attention to the role that the mobile phones are playing in the invasion.
The U.S. Government is allowing China, via that regime’s TikTok app, to carry this out.
This is a military operation against the United States, no doubt about it. The part that will be difficult for most people to comprehend is that the the U.S. Government is facilitating the attack by funding NGOs and leaving the border open:

US Strikes At Least 85 Targets In Iraq & Syria, Including From B1 Bombers
February 3rd, 2024Via: ZeroHedge:
Importantly, there have been no reports of US airstrikes in Iran this evening, and US officials say that the Pentagon does not plan to hit targets inside the Islamic Republic. But the strikes on eastern Syria and in western Iraq were large, and targeted IRGC assets and personnel and their affiliates. According to a CENTCOM statement, the initial wave, which started at 4pm US Eastern Time (interestingly, just after markets closed), included over 85 targets, with some of them hit more than once:
At 4:00 p.m. (EST) Feb. 02, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted airstrikes in Iraq and Syria against Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force and affiliated militia groups. U.S. military forces struck more than 85 targets, with numerous aircraft to include long-range bombers flown from United States.
The airstrikes employed more than 125 precision munitions. The facilities that were struck included command and control operations centers, intelligence centers, rockets, and missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicle storages, and logistics and munition supply chain facilities of militia groups and their IRGC sponsors who facilitated attacks against U.S. and Coalition forces.

AI Programmed to Resist State-of-the-Art Safety Controls
February 2nd, 2024Via: LiveScience:
Artificial intelligence (AI) systems that were trained to be secretly malicious resisted state-of-the-art safety methods designed to “purge” them of dishonesty, a disturbing new study found.
Researchers programmed various large language models (LLMs) — generative AI systems similar to ChatGPT — to behave maliciously. Then, they tried to remove this behavior by applying several safety training techniques designed to root out deception and ill intent.
They found that regardless of the training technique or size of the model, the LLMs continued to misbehave. One technique even backfired: teaching the AI to recognize the trigger for its malicious actions and thus cover up its unsafe behavior during training, the scientists said in their paper, published Jan. 17 to the preprint database arXiv.
75% Of House Democrats Voted Against Deporting Criminal Migrants Who Commit Social Security Fraud
February 2nd, 2024Via: ZeroHedge:
Democrats talk a big game about ‘Republican attacks on Social Security,’ but 75% of House Dems just voted against deporting migrants who commit Social Security fraud.
Introduced by Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA) in December, H.R. 6678 passed with 172 “yea” votes, and 155 “nay” votes – all Democrats, with 55 of them voting with the Republicans.
Starlink’s Laser System Is Beaming Over 42 Petabytes of Data Per Day
February 2nd, 2024Via: PC Magazine:
SpaceX’s laser system for Starlink is delivering over 42 petabytes of data for customers per day, an engineer revealed today. That translates into 42 million gigabytes.
“We’re passing over terabits per second [of data] every day across 9,000 lasers,” SpaceX engineer Travis Brashears said today at SPIE Photonics West, an event in San Francisco focused on the latest advancements in optics and light. “We actually serve over lasers all of our users on Starlink at a given time in like a two-hour window.”
…
Tuesday’s talk from Brashears revealed the laser system is quite robust, even as the equipment is flying onboard thousands of Starlink satellites constantly circling the Earth. Despite the technical challenges, the company has achieved a laser “link uptime” at over 99%.
The satellites are constantly forming laser links, resulting in about 266,141 “laser acquisitions” per day, according to Brashears’ presentation. But in some cases, the links can also be maintained for weeks at a time, and even reach transmission rates at up to 200Gbps.

Why Did NIH Abruptly Halt Research on the Harms of Cell Phone Radiation?
February 1st, 2024Via: The Hill:
In a shocking reversal, the National Toxicology Program (NTP) of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences has quietly disclosed that it will stop studying the biological or environmental impacts of cell phone radiofrequency radiation.
This decision comes despite results from the program’s carefully engineered and reviewed decade-long $30 million animal studies that found cancer, heart damage and DNA damage associated with exposure to cell phone radiofrequency radiation at levels comparable to those experienced by Americans today.
The sudden end of civilian government efforts to study potential health impacts of wireless radiation constitutes a glaring abdication of responsibility. In contrast, the U.S. Department of Defense continues to study this problem.
The European Union is providing multi-million dollar grants for multidisciplinary studies. The French government regularly monitors towers and phones and has recalled millions of phones for excessive radiation or other concerns, reflecting public concerns about both psychological and physiological impacts. In 2019, French Minsters passed an order ensuring phones had consumer information that included that teenagers and pregnant women avoid exposing their abdomens to wireless radiating devices.
Just last year, the NTP declared on its 2023 fact sheet that it would perform follow-up studies to better understand the effects found in the long term animal studies. So what happened? At this juncture, it is unclear. Have the follow-up studies been completed already? Working with Swiss national engineering and U.S. government experts, the NTP had devised small-scale systems for exposing animals experimentally to controlled levels of wireless radiation. Yet results from these exposure systems have neither been publicly shared nor published.
In a sudden and inexplicable turnaround of this long-scheduled and heavily reviewed workplan, the NTP now states that no more research on wireless radiation is planned due to costs of the studies and technical challenges. One must ask what is driving this flipflop. What has led to this sudden change in priorities, so that such an exponentially growing environmental exposure no longer merits study?

Europe Erupts In Widespread Farmer Protests As Revolt Against ‘Green’ Policies Intensifies
January 31st, 2024Via: ZeroHedge:
Farmers in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Romania, and other countries across Europe are protesting radical leftist governments by obstructing major transport networks with tractors. This widespread populist movement is sweeping Europe at a time when over-regulation, taxes, and the climate change agenda threaten the livelihoods of not just farmers but working-class people and comes several months before the European election cycle kicks off in June.
Some countries hit hardest by protests have been Germany, Italy, Belgium, and France. Protests are expected to spread to Spain and Portugal.
On Tuesday, France’s new prime minister, Gabriel Attal, promised farmers emergency funds and stricter trade controls on foreign products to guarantee fair competition.
However, that might not have been enough, as the farmer’s union in France was unimpressed by concessions offered by the French government. They encouraged their members to continue the fight.
