Dems Call on Biden to Seize Control of Texas National Guard
January 25th, 2024Via: Fox:
As Texas Gov. Greg Abbott continues to tout the state’s right to self-defend itself from a migrant invasion, some Democratic lawmakers are calling on President Biden to take control of the state’s National Guard.
Abbott issued a lengthy statement Wednesday, saying the federal government broke the compact between the U.S. and the individual states.
“The Executive Branch of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting states, including immigration laws on the books right now,” Abbott said. “President Biden has refused to enforce those laws and has even violated them.”

Toxic Oreos lower LDL Cholesterol More Than Statins
January 25th, 2024Via: The Highwire:
Pfizer’s cholesterol-lowering statin drug Lipitor is one of the most profitable medications of all time. Globally, the lucrative statin market is projected to reach $32 billion by 2032. Yet, for years, there have been published studies reporting that statin drugs lead to profound memory loss and diabetes, and, overall, are entirely worthless. As such, the studies have supplied the basis for reevaluating the guidelines for prescribing statins and theories on cholesterol in general. After all, cholesterol is essential to the human body—if you had none, you would be dead. The studies have likewise questioned why more focus isn’t put on maintaining good heart health through beneficial lifestyle habits instead of harmful statin medications. However, given the massive profits enjoyed by Big Pharma and physicians alike, questions are quelled, and statin prescriptions continue to increase. But alas—firmly revealing the absurdity of the scheme to keep Americans unhealthy on statins—a recent study published on January 22, 2024, has demonstrated that Nabisco’s toxic Oreo Cookies are two times more effective at lowering LDL cholesterol (the one they say is “bad”) than high-intensity statin drugs.
Texas Defies ‘Lawless’ Biden, Invokes Right To Self-Defense From ‘Invasion’ With More Razor Wire
January 24th, 2024Via: ZeroHedge:
Texas Governor Greg Abbott just drew a hard line in the sand, putting the Biden administration on notice that he’s declared the migrant crisis an “invasion” and invoked Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself.
According to Abbott, “That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary. The Texas National Guard, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and other Texas personnel are acting on that authority, as well as state law, to secure the Texas border.”
Trudeau’s Orwellian Attack On Canadian Truckers Declared Unconstitutional
January 24th, 2024A little late…
Via: ZeroHedge:
Canada’s Federal Court ruled on Tuesday that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s use of the Emergencies Act in 2022 to punish protesting truckers was both unreasonable and unconstitutional.
“I have concluded that the decision to issue the Proclamation does not bear the hallmarks of reasonableness — justification, transparency and intelligibility — and was not justified in relation to the relevant factual and legal constraints that were required to be taken into consideration,” wrote Justice Richard G. Mosley in his ruling.
The decision follows an application for judicial review requested by the Canadian Constitution Foundation, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, and various other applicants who cried foul over the use of emergency measures to quell Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa, which allowed the government to freeze the bank accounts of protesters, conscript tow truck drivers, and arrest people for participating in assemblies deemed illegal by Trudeau’s government.

The U.K. government said Wednesday it has no plans to introduce conscription, after the head of the British Army said a “citizen army” would be needed to fight a future war with a country like Russia.
Chief of the General Staff Gen. Patrick Saunders said preparing for a potential land war would have to be a “whole-of-nation” undertaking. He praised European nations closer to Russia for “prudently laying the foundations for national mobilization.”

And Now… “Carbon Footprint of Homegrown Food Five Times Greater than Those Grown Conventionally”
January 24th, 2024Mmm hmm.
Via: The Telegraph:
Growing your own food in an allotment may not be as good for the environment as expected, a study suggests.
The carbon footprint of homegrown foods is five times greater than produce from conventional agricultural practices, such as rural farms, data show.
A study from the University of Michigan looked at how much CO2 was produced when growing food in different types of urban farms and found that, on average, a serving of food made from traditional farms creates 0.07kg of CO2.
The impact on the environment is almost five times higher at 0.34kg per portion for individual gardens, such as vegetable patches or allotments.
“Pentagon Moves to Declassify Some Secret Space Programs and Technologies”
January 24th, 2024Via: Space.com:
The United States Department of Defense (DoD) wants to declassify more space programs in order to boost the nation’s military edge in space.
As the world’s superpowers continue to invest in the militarization of space, some leaders at the Pentagon believe it’s time to declassify some of the secretive space programs in the United States’ portfolio. To that end, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks recently approved a new policy that will reduce the classification level of some highly secret space programs and technologies.
The policies that have prohibited sharing this information are outdated and are holding back the U.S. when it comes to superiority in space, according to DoD Assistant Secretary for Space Policy John Plumb. “What the classification memo does, generally, is it overwrites — it really completely rewrites — a legacy document that had its roots 20 years ago, and it’s just no longer applicable to the current environment that involves national security space,” Plumb said last week, according to Breaking Defense.
The policy does not mean that these programs and technologies will now be fully unclassified and revealed to the public; instead, it will lower their classification levels in order to share some technologies and programs with private industry and international allies to help the U.S. build an “asymmetric advantage and force multiplier that neither China nor Russia could ever hope to match,” Plumb said in a DoD statement.
CDC Labeled Accurate Articles As Misinformation
January 23rd, 2024Via: Epoch Times:
The top U.S. public health agency labeled multiple news articles as misinformation even though the articles were accurate, according to internal emails and experts.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) added the misinformation labels to articles from The Epoch Times in widely-circulated internal messages, according to copies obtained by The Epoch Times.
One of the articles reported on a peer-reviewed paper that found heart inflammation, or myocarditis, was more common after COVID-19 vaccination than after COVID-19 infection.
Nordic researchers reviewed electronic health records and counted 109 cases of myocarditis following COVID-19 infection compared to 530 after vaccination. Their study was published by the British Medical Journal.
An internal CDC email said that the study “has been picked up by anti-vax proponents as evidence that vax was more likely to cause myocarditis than COVID-19 infection,” and provided a hyperlink to The Epoch Times article.
The Feb. 7, 2023, email listed the article under “points of confusion/potential rumors/misinformation.”
