Ukraine’s Mi-24 Hinds Now Armed With U.S. 70mm Hydra Rockets
August 3rd, 2023Via: The War Zone:
At least some of Ukraine’s Mi-24 Hind gunship helicopters now appear to be capable of firing U.S.-made unguided 70mm Hydra rockets. The U.S. government first publicly announced it was sending thousands of these munitions to Ukraine earlier this year.
A video, seen below, has now emerged showing what looks to be one of the Mi-24V Hinds that the Czech Republic previously donated to Ukraine being armed with Hydras. The rockets are seen being loaded into a 19-tube M261 rocket pod, which is attached to a pylon on the Hind’s left-side stub wing via an adapter.
Beyond the pylon adapter, it is not immediately clear what other modifications were required to integrate the Hydra onto the Hind.
Infant Vaccines Linked to Increase in All-Cause Mortality
August 3rd, 2023Via: The Defender:
Developed nations requiring the most neonatal vaccine doses tend to have the worst childhood mortality rates, according to a peer-reviewed study published July 20 in Cureus Journal of Medical Science.
“Health authorities emphasize that vaccines save lives,” lead author Neil Miller told The Defender. “Yet our data suggests that when developed nations require two versus zero neonatal vaccine doses, or many versus fewer vaccines during infancy, there may be unintended consequences that increase all-cause mortality.”
…
In their latest study, Miller and Goldman expanded the scope of their earlier analyses to consider the effects of two vaccines — hepatitis B and tuberculosis — both typically given soon after birth.
The study calculated the effect of these shots on mortality rates for neonates (up to 28 days post-birth), infants (up to 1 year old), and children under 5. Analyses were all based on separate data from 2019 and 2021.
Mortality data and vaccine schedules were collected from UNICEF, the World Health Organization and national governments.
Nations were categorized by the number of neonatal vaccine doses (zero, one or two) mandated for newborns to determine if statistically significant differences existed in mortality rates for the three age groups.
After applying standard statistical analyses to the data, the study found a strong association between vaccinations and rates of neonatal, infant and under-5 mortality for both years studied.
“Our findings would be considered moderate correlations which are statistically significant,” Miller said. The correlations are positive, meaning that the more vaccine doses given, the higher the mortality.
“In these circumstances health authorities expect to see negative correlations, that is, a decline in mortality with more vaccine doses. So, any statistically significant positive correlation is a genuine concern,” Miller said.
Miller calculated a highly significant difference of 1.28 deaths per 1,000 live births in the mean infant mortality rates between nations not giving their neonates any vaccine doses, and those requiring vaccination against both hepatitis B and tuberculosis.
Australia: COVID Vaccines Show 24 Times More Adverse Reactions Than Others
August 3rd, 2023Via: Epoch Times:
The latest report on adverse reactions to vaccines in Western Australia has revealed that COVID-19 vaccinations have 24 times the rate of adverse reactions in the state compared to all other vaccines.
According to the state’s vaccine safety surveillance report (pdf), COVID-19 vaccines showed that for every 100,000 COVID-19 vaccines administered, 264 adverse events following immunisations (AEFIs) were recorded.
For all other vaccinations, 11.1 AEFIs were recorded, making the COVID-19 vaccines 23.8 times more likely than non-COVID-19 vaccines to result in adverse events.
South Korean LK-99 Superconductor Possibly Real, Replication Efforts Ongoing
August 2nd, 2023Interestingly, the South Korean LK-99 superconductor patent cites a U.S. Navy superconductor patent from 2017. The inventor on the U.S. Navy patent is Salvatore Cezar Pais.
We met Pais when The Drive reported on a series of exotic technology patents filed by the U.S. Navy:
Over the last six months, The War Zone has been deeply reporting on a set of bizarre patents assigned to the U.S. Navy. The patents, which are all the product of a single inventor, truly sound like the stuff of science fiction and include high-temperature superconductors, gravitational wave generators, compact fusion reactors, and high-energy electromagnetic field generators. Most radical of all is the “hybrid aerospace-underwater craft” claimed to be able to “engineer the fabric of our reality at the most fundamental level” by seemingly bending the laws of physics as we know them. Together, these patents seem to be the building blocks of a vehicle with truly out-of-this-world, UFO-like performance. As part of our reporting, we have been working to better understand the mind behind this mysterious intellectual property. Now, the elusive Dr. Salvatore Cezar Pais has spoken to The War Zone.
While it’s not yet clear if LK-99 is real, many teams around the world are working on replications.
Via: Tom’s Hardware:
There might be more to LK-99 than skeptics expected, as two research teams have already confirmed the superconductivity claims — albeit in preliminary testing. Researcher Sinéad Griffin from the U.S.’s Lawrence Berkeley National Lab pored over the original paper, taking advantage of the supercomputing capabilities within the Department of Energy to simulate the LK-99 material.
…
As a result of the simulations, the researcher published an analysis letter in pre-print form to Arxiv, where she confirmed that the resulting material should manifest the superconduction pathways for electrons to travel through unimpeded and without any resistance. Interestingly, she noticed that these superconducting pathways only form in very specific areas of the compound, namely the highest-energy areas of the resulting crystal lattice.
Because physics dictates that systems tend to remain stable at their lowest-possible energy states, this means that the amount of superconducting material produced with each “shake-and-bake” manufacturing attempt will result in relatively low quantities of the material. The hope, then, is that further refinements to the fabrication process will yield higher quantities of the material that can then be harvested and put toward building the superconductors themselves.
…
But in what’s perhaps the most definite sign of a verification, Chinese researchers with the Huazhong University of Science and Technology have claimed to have successfully replicated the superconductor’s manufacturing process, posting a video on Bilibili as proof.
The above video showcases the Meissner effect as being definite proof of the material’s superconducting capabilities. The Meissner effect refers to the expulsion of a magnetic field due to the superconducting process. It is the reason why the video showcases levitating materials — they are interacting with LK-99’s Meissner-induced magnetic field.
Trump Indicted by Jan. 6 Grand Jury on 4 Federal Counts Related to Election Interference
August 1st, 2023Via: McClatchy:
Donald Trump was indicted on federal criminal charges Tuesday for his role in interfering with the 2020 presidential election, the third indictment facing the former president as he mounts another campaign for the White House.
Special Counsel Jack Smith secured an indictment in the case from a grand jury in Washington, D.C., describing over 45 pages a broad conspiracy to overturn the 2020 presidential election that was marked by a violent riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
Smith charged the former president with four counts: conspiracy to defraud the United States; conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding; obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding; and conspiracy against the rights of voters, referring to those who supported Trump’s opponent in the election, President Joe Biden.
Rand Paul Says He Has Fauci “Dead To Rights”
August 1st, 2023Via: Summit News:
Senator Rand Paul discussed his criminal referral of Anthony Fauci to the Department of Justice in an interview Tuesday, declaring that “we have him dead to rights.”
As we highlighted yesterday, Paul forwarded copies of 2020 email exchanges that show Fauci confirming that he knew “scientists in Wuhan University are known to have been working on gain-of-function experiments.”
“This directly contradicts everything he said in committee hearing to me, denying absolutely that they funded any gain of function, and it’s absolutely a lie. That’s why I sent an official criminal referral to the DOJ,” Paul tweeted.
In a Fox & Friends interview Monday, Paul urged “There’s probably never been a government official caught more red-handed, lying to us,” adding “He has proved the lie in his own words.”
MIT Engineers Create an Supercapacitor from Very Common Materials
August 1st, 2023This is fascinating, but keep in mind that the energy density is very low.
I don’t know where the average household energy use is 10kwh per day, as stated in the article below, but in the U.S., it’s about 30kwh per day.
Via: MIT News:
Made of cement, carbon black, and water, the device could provide cheap and scalable energy storage for renewable energy sources.
…
The team calculated that a block of nanocarbon-black-doped concrete that is 45 cubic meters (or yards) in size — equivalent to a cube about 3.5 meters across — would have enough capacity to store about 10 kilowatt-hours of energy, which is considered the average daily electricity usage for a household. Since the concrete would retain its strength, a house with a foundation made of this material could store a day’s worth of energy produced by solar panels or windmills and allow it to be used whenever it’s needed. And, supercapacitors can be charged and discharged much more rapidly than batteries.
Drone Hits Tower Housing Russian Ministries for Second Time in Three Days
August 1st, 2023Every day that passes without a mushroom cloud is a miracle.
Via: Reuters:
A high-rise building in Moscow’s business district that houses three Russian government ministries was struck by a drone for the second time in three days on Tuesday, in what Russia called an attempted Ukrainian “terrorist attack”.
A Ukrainian presidential adviser said Moscow should expect more drone attacks and “more war”.
The building that was hit is known as the “IQ quarter”, which houses the ministry of economic development, the digital ministry and the ministry of industry and trade. Video obtained by Reuters showed a section of its glass facade, high above the ground, had been destroyed by the impact.

Illegal Aliens Can Become Police Officers in Illinois and California
July 31st, 2023Via: Breitbart:
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) has signed into law a plan that allows foreign nationals with work permits, some of whom are illegal aliens, to become police officers in the sanctuary state.
…
Late last week, Pritzker signed the legislation into law which takes effect immediately.
In the sanctuary state of California, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) has made it possible for illegal aliens to become police officers on the local, county, and state levels.
The law, implemented earlier this year, requires only that officers have a work permit issued by the federal government. Work permits, specifically under President Joe Biden’s administration, are given out regularly to border crossers and illegal aliens released into the United States after crossing the southern border.
