Lawyers Prepare to Sue Any State That Requires COVID-19 Vaccination to Attend School
October 24th, 2022Thanks to The Banana Farmer for sending this in: Homeschooling Options and State Exemptions for Childhood Vaccines.
Don’t wait. Many parents are going to be removing their children from public schools. Depending on the amount of red tape, there could be long delays.
Via: Epoch Times:
Any state that requires COVID-19 vaccination to attend school will face a lawsuit, lawyers said this week.
The Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), run by TV host Del Bigtree, has pledged to finance up to 50 lawsuits, Aaron Siri, who frequently represents the group, said.
“ICAN has told us it will financially support a challenge against any state. So, if all 50 states require it to attend school, ICAN will support challenging the mandate in every single one of those states,” Siri told The Epoch Times.
The process would require finding parents or others who want to challenge any mandate that arises, but the funding and legal representation for such suits are in place.
The pledge comes after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) advisory panel on Oct. 20 recommended adding COVID-19 vaccines to the child and adolescent immunization schedules.
The CDC still has to accept the recommendation, but is expected to do so given its stance on vaccines throughout the pandemic. The agency did not respond to a request for comment.
Some states require most vaccines on the immunization schedules for school and daycare attendance, including Virginia, though none require annual influenza vaccines for school attendance, according to Immunize.org.
Some governors and gubernatorial hopefuls have vowed to block COVID-19 vaccine mandates for children, including the governors of Florida, Colorado, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Other states are expected to mandate the vaccines, including California.

Ex-Chinese Leader Escorted Out of Communist Party Congress as Xi Cements Control
October 23rd, 2022Via: Epoch Times:
China’s former top leader Hu Jintao was unexpectedly led out of the closing ceremony of a key Communist Party meeting in Beijing with no explanation, stirring questions in a usually highly choreographed event.
…
Circumstances around Hu’s removal from the room were unclear. On the first day of the weeklong meeting, Hu seemed unsteady and was assisted onto the same stage by a young aide.
On Hu’s left side on Saturday, senior figure Li Zhanshu wiped sweat from his forehead as the scene unfolded. He tidied his suit and was getting up to help Hu, but was pulled back by a quick tug from Wang Huning, the Party’s ideology tsar sitting next to him.
While seated, Hu at one moment reached for files belonging to Xi that lay between the two on the table. Xi put his hand on the document to hold it down; the staffer quickly moved the ex-leader’s arm off the table and again tried to get him to his feet. Barely anyone from the front row stirred when Hu passed from behind to the exit.

Starlink Signals Can Be Reverse-Engineered To Work Like GPS
October 21st, 2022Via: MIT Technology Review:
Todd Humphreys’s offer to SpaceX was simple. With a few software tweaks, its rapidly growing Starlink constellation could also offer ultra-precise position, navigation, and timing. The US Army, which funds Humphreys’s work at the University of Texas at Austin, wanted a backup to its venerable, and vulnerable, GPS system. Could Starlink fill that role?
When the idea was first proposed in 2020, executives at SpaceX were open to the idea, says Humphreys. Then word came from on high. “Elon told the leaders we spoke to: every other LEO [low Earth orbit] communications network has gone into bankruptcy,” Humphreys told MIT Technology Review. “And so we [SpaceX] have to focus completely on staying out of bankruptcy. We cannot afford any distractions.”
But Humphreys wouldn’t take no for an answer. For the past two years, his team at UT Austin’s Radionavigation Lab has been reverse-engineering signals sent from thousands of Starlink internet satellites in low Earth orbit to ground-based receivers. Now Humphreys says his team has cracked the problem, and he believes that regular beacon signals from the constellation, designed to help receivers connect with the satellites, could form the basis of a useful navigation system. Crucially, this could be done without any help from SpaceX at all.

White House Launches $88 Billion National Biodefense Strategy
October 20th, 2022Via: The Defender:
The Biden administration on Tuesday announced a new $88 billion national biodefense strategy that outlines the government’s plans for how to respond to future pandemics, public health emergencies and biological threats.
The launch of the “National Biodefense Strategy and Implementation Plan for Countering Biological Threats, Enhancing Pandemic Preparedness, and Achieving Global Health Security” included the signing of National Security Memorandum-15 (NSM-15).
Key elements of the new strategy include the rapid production and distribution of vaccines and diagnostic tests, and enhancing global health security.
The strategy also includes a new framework for the federal government’s role during a future crisis, which places the White House at the center of any such response, coordinating the actions of multiple federal agencies.
The White House said the new strategy adopts lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic.
In an interview with The Defender, University of Illinois international law professor Francis Boyle, J.D., Ph.D., a bioweapons expert who drafted the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, said:
“It appears that the enormous amount of money here, $88 billion over five years, when you add it on to well over, I would say, maybe $130 billion [in biodefense spending] since Sept. 11, 2001, means that they are gearing up to fight biological weapons warfare around the world.”
CDC Votes To Add COVID-19 Vaccines To Childhood Immunization Schedule
October 20th, 2022Via: The Defender:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) independent vaccine advisory committee today voted unanimously (15-0) to recommend adding COVID-19 vaccines for children as young as 6 months old to the new Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule, which will be rolled out in February 2023.
The revised recommendations accepted today by the committee include the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children as young as 6 months old and the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine for children as young as 12.
All COVID-19 vaccines being administered in the U.S. to people under 18 are Emergency Use Authorized (EUA) products. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration did grant full approval to Pfizer’s Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine for ages 12 and older, however, the Comirnaty vaccine is not available in the U.S. — which means all children who get the Pfizer vaccine are getting an EUA product.
When asked if an EUA product could be added to the schedule, Dr. A. Patricia Wodi, a member of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), said the U.S. Department of Justice Office of General Counsel confirmed for the CDC that EUA products can be added.
Commenting on Wodi’s statement, Dr. Meryl Nass said, “And that was that. No legal justification. No moral or ethical justification. And definitely no medical or scientific justification.”
Nass said she isn’t aware of any EUA product ever being added to the schedule until today.
